No, Jetwing Prime is the Amazon Exclusive. As is the Year of the Dragon DOTM Prime. Masterpiece Optimus is just a Toys R Us exclusive.

On top of that, TRU got my hopes up. Called CS just to ask, and they said it was available TO ORDER thru phone CS. I asked her... are you sure, and she said yep. So I went thru the whole rigamarole... only to be transferred to Toys Universe... and be told.. not available to order yet.

Oh well, that was 3.67 minutes worth of hope!

 

No shared MP exclusive this year. If it was going to be a shared exclusive, than it probably would've been between TRU and Entertainment Earth like Rodimus was last year.

EDIT: If it was going to be an Amazon exclusive, I imagine people wouldn't be so anxious about acquiring this thing as they are because Amazon's less of a pain in the ass regarding its recent Transformer exclusives (Unicron, Bruticus, plus the Jetwing Optimus and Year of the Dragon Optimus) than TRU's site was with Rodimus.

 

i think its betther to keep prime as and tru exclusive so all the batches they made are in tru and less stores they are more prime are gonna be in toys r us

I'm surprised its not ready in time for SDCC like Roddy, last yr. I guess the U.S. is turning into the Asian time as in..... delay. Maybe its safe to say the following month(s), so Jul really means Aug and possibly Sept  

 

I can say everone is just playing the waiting game beside Hong Kong which already has this piece for sale.

 

i tried TRU with their product sku 863856 several days ago

the sku is correct it is for masterpiece optimus but all systems show a big goose egg.. in speaking with the associate, though she may be wrong, she said once it shows up in the warehouse, if you give them the sku they will order and hold one for you specificaly... i take that with a grain of salt, but ill check on tuesdays until the warehouse shows stock..

 

I was really hoping for a SDCC shared exclusive so I could avoid hunting it down in person.

Ha, yeah if this gets delayed a month or two, I wonder if that means anything (and if so, what) for Thundercracker's release date.

Someone tried TRU again this week and it is saying Sept release. Told ya dudes!

And now word is that TC isn't getting released until Nov. Going to be a great holiday season.

 

Did an employee say it shows up on the screen in Sept?

 

I like this better. Now I'm not dropping loads of big bucks at once.
