Blame Walmart, Target and other retailers for passing on MP Prime. Hasbro would gladly sell another 50,000 units to the big box retailers.

Not everyone can get to TRU (or any other store) right when it opens, so that's not a viable option for most here.

Most people have jobs or school. Most here can't or (justifiably) won't take time away from work or school to get there first thing for a toy, no matter how much we want it. These things not having a set release date doesn't help.

Well this sucks, it's already hard enough to find FOC toys at my TRU and that's even if they had them to start with. Can we atleast get a date so I can go trip up some scalpers.

Did anyone REALLY believe that it was going to be a wide release? It was from a Hasbro CS person, who do not have the best track record for providing accurate information.

Walmart sat on TONS of unsold Skywarps and I saw stores in my area with up to 8 Skywarps on clearance for 30 bucks unsold. Did anyone really think that with the Skywarp disaster that Walmart would want to try again on a figure that's going to be 40 bucks more expensive than Skywarp was?

Personally, I think it's a safe bet to say that any MP figures coming out in America nowadays will be a TRU exclusive.

    Well it's just my opinion:redface2:
As for money, every year I designate about 100 dollars to my hobby in order I don't spend too much. I don't know if this causes me to be frustrated or whatever, but that is just how manage my money.

When I look over it you are right. It is completely illogical. Sorry, I have a tendency to do that when under pressure:D

Five years ago I paid 200 bucks for this, new: http://onlyhdwallpapers.com/wallpap...lution_desktop_1152x1600_wallpaper-417001.jpg

I used to do 1/6th military figures until I got fed up with it, so if you don't know, Takara MP prices are nothing compared to a 1/6th figure. If I wanted a really detailed kitbash I was looking at spending 150+ for a figure, 200 if I wanted Hot Toys or 3rd party parts. Also last month I dropped 500 bucks on my pistol. Yeah, there's A LOT more expensive hobbies than collecting MP figures, that's for sure.

I'll follow that thread religiously if it's started. There is only one TRU near where I live in north-central WV, and it ain't necessarily Transformers central...

I'm there right now, lol. MP Prime is a bargain comparatively.

Man, I'm downright giddy about getting my hands on this fig.

I've had access to 15+ grimlocks, 10+ roddy's and tons of the WM seekers. SO I will surely help some people out. Even more so if they can pay in advance (the wife would appreciate this).
