Good luck on getting Shockwave or the Dinobots as those molds either arent owned by Takara or are destroyed and no longer available. As for the Stunticons, I don't know but I would agree with you that those ones should be getting reissued. But why so much hate for Sixshot? He is way better than Quickswitch and his character in Headmasters was pretty cool in an evil villan kind of way.

Same song and dance we heard about:

Soundwave
Hound
Rumble and Frenzy
Sky Lynx
Omega Supreme
Constructicons/Devastator
Predacons/Predaking

Takara can find/remake any of their molds any time they feel like it.

I don't know about immediately...but eventually, once it sells out everywhere, yeah I'm sure people will wish they'd jumped on it earlier before eBay sends the price even higher than what initially retails for.

I don't mind high prices for reissues (I'll pay up for Japanese exclusive stuff, Scorponok, Fort Max, Trypticon, etc.) and I know Sixshot's big so I was expecting $100-130 or so. The current price is still something I'm not thrilled about, but I've come around on the chrome and shinyness, and at least the box is nice.

For those that have Sixshot in hand, is it as big or bigger than Devs or the Scramble City combiners? I forget how big it is, exactly.

Um, Arkasaurus, this is only the second time they've reissued it, and first time in a decade. This is hardly Optimus Prime or Soundwave.

As for the others...Shockwave is a mold Takara doesn't own the license to, so that's up in the air but much more doable than the Bandai-owned molds (Jetfire, Roadbuster, Whirl, Deluxe Insecticons).

The Dinobots have been rumored as being future Encore/reissue releases for some time now, and these rumors have come from credible sources (I know at least TCracker spoke of them once in the past few months), but if Takara is reshuffling their plans, I'm not sure where that leaves them.

As for the Stunticons, who knows what's up with them. We've received four of the seven non-Japanese exclusive Decepticon combiners so far as reissues, so I think they're possible, but we have no idea what Takara's view of reissues is right now. Maybe they view Japan as cooling on reissues so they're releasing Sixshot in Asia to see if the market is stronger there. We'll have to wait and see.

That said, I still think it bizarre that Takara would randomly resurrect the Encore line with three releases, about two years after it'd ended/fallen into hiatus with no word about an eventual return, and then leave it for dead again.

That may be like very true. So that begs the question of what is Takara waiting for then in the case of the Dinobots? Not only would that certainly sell to collectors but who doesn't like a mechanical dinosaur that changes into a robot? I would imagine the kids in Takara's demographic would eat that up.

I used to have the 2002 Sixshot reissue. Sixshot is easily as big as any of the Scramble city combiners maybe just a hair taller. And that is not counting his wings that stick straight up behind his back.

I am guessing the cost for this Sixshot reissue has to do with a few things;

- Chrome weapons
- Chrome painted parts.
- Collector style packaging

It does have six modes. You're essentially getting six transformers in one with this figure. Plus do we even know what the real official selling price is yet or have we only hear and estimated price?

^This. Greatshot has such a gorgeous colour scheme. Way better looking than Sixshot and the best part is.....it's still Sixshot...or atleast hinted,
