As for the Stunticons, I don't know but I would agree with you that those ones should be getting reissued. But why so much hate for Sixshot? He is way better than Quickswitch and his character in Headmasters was pretty cool in an evil villan kind of way. "It is not collecting that makes me broke. I don't mind high prices for reissues (I'll pay up for Japanese exclusive stuff, Scorponok, Fort Max, Trypticon, etc.) and I know Sixshot's big so I was expecting $100-130 or so. The current price is still something I'm not thrilled about, but I've come around on the chrome and shinyness, and at least the box is nice. For those that have Sixshot in hand, is it as big or bigger than Devs or the Scramble City combiners? I forget how big it is, exactly. Quote:

As for the others...Shockwave is a mold Takara doesn't own the license to, so that's up in the air but much more doable than the Bandai-owned molds (Jetfire, Roadbuster, Whirl, Deluxe Insecticons). The Dinobots have been rumored as being future Encore/reissue releases for some time now, and these rumors have come from credible sources (I know at least TCracker spoke of them once in the past few months), but if Takara is reshuffling their plans, I'm not sure where that leaves them. As for the Stunticons, who knows what's up with them. We've received four of the seven non-Japanese exclusive Decepticon combiners so far as reissues, so I think they're possible, but we have no idea what Takara's view of reissues is right now. Maybe they view Japan as cooling on reissues so they're releasing Sixshot in Asia to see if the market is stronger there. We'll have to wait and see. That said, I still think it bizarre that Takara would randomly resurrect the Encore line with three releases, about two years after it'd ended/fallen into hiatus with no word about an eventual return, and then leave it for dead again. I am guessing the cost for this Sixshot reissue has to do with a few things; - Chrome weapons - Chrome painted parts. - Collector style packaging It does have six modes. You're essentially getting six transformers in one with this figure. Plus do we even know what the real official selling price is yet or have we only hear and estimated price? | ||
