M-flo?! Seriously?! Wow, that's cool. I used to love that group, but they just haven't really been the same since they lost their vocalist, Lisa, some time ago.

However, I still don't think these opening and ending songs suit this show.

Agh....I swear when I head that opening to the Japanese dub, I screamed. It doesn't fit at all. Seriously, what were they thinking?

Is season 2 getting ready to air in Japan already? I thought they just started seaosn one not too long ago? If they aired season one and two without interruption it would take one full yar at the rate of one episode per week (pretty standard practice in Japan). They'll probably finish season two about the same time as the U.S. does.

*edit- ok I just found online that TF: Prime just started in Japan on 4/7/12. I still think it will be cool that they get all 52 episodes (season 1 & 2 combined) uninterrupted, but they will finish season 2 on 3/30/13, probably about the time Season Three is 8 or 9 episodes in depending on when season 3 rolls out in the U.S.

I'd assume that rather than be attached to season two, they'll follow the fairly common Japanese practise of changing the opening and closing after around thirteen episodes.

Yeah I've noticed that has been the trend in the past decade or so. I First Noticed it with Gundam Seed. Its too bad they put so much effort into developing new opening/closing sequences, and sometimestheir stories are lacking. I'll admit a new opening sequence was something I really thought was neat in older anime series (a higher episode run would only do it once however such as in the case of Transformers: Masterforce or Beast Wars II)

Has anyone noticed the opposite trend in US cartoons? Thudercats, Young Justice, Green Lantern, Ultimate Spider-Man just to name a few, only have title cards now, no openings at all.

Then my clean 1080p opening/ending pair is still better fitting for Prime than the official ones.

That concerns me greatly. A similar case happened w/ Beast Wars years ago.
