My hopes of obtaining this set are diminishing greatly. oh well I don't really mind the retail colours that much, bar Vortex. And i'll definitely get G2 Fruticus.

I feel bad for the people who have to wait in lines all day at Comic Con to get just one or two of an exclusive figure. But for the people who are going to be buying several cases to sell for a 100% markup, I hope they have a miserable time. Like a get nauseous and shit their pants miserable. I even hope BBTS, a store I love, gets some painful sharts. $199.99 for a Bruticus. Fucking ridiculous.

Will definitely willing to pay more for the SDCC version than the retail version

Here's something for all the people complaining about the price to think about.

1) It's a toy we won't see on shelves for nearly 2-3 months.
2) Game accurate colors
3) A pretty sweet looking box with great artwork on the cover.
4) It's a Bruticus Combiner.

I don't see how it's such a big deal, people are paying nearly $60-$70 for the new Voyager Breakdown which is over three times the normal price, yet we're getting upset over a toy that will now only be received earlier than it's retail release, but also it's a convention exclusive, they're always marked up a bit, so why the sudden shock and rage over it being $100?

I personally will be getting one off HTS (pretty sure they'll have plenty) and I'll be fine with dropping the Benjamin on him.

BBTS wants $105 for the set of 5 for the retail version! Now let's see some bitching!
Yeah, that's why I didn't get the complaints over Hasbro charging $100 at SDCC.

Honestly, looking at the other three figures in that assortment, I wouldn't begrudge BBTS either. The last WFC Optimus shelfwarmed. And they're packing two to a case, after a wave with three to a case, that they probably ordered a ton of to get Shockwave. I fully expect FOC Optimus to end up in a clearance sale six months from now.

It's really not that expensive when you look at it in context with other SDCC exclusives. Nemesis Prime cost a bit more than a normal voyager, and Soundwave and Blaster were significantly more that they would have been at retail. At $15 a deluxe, this would cost $75 plus tax at a store, I think $100 for a con exclusive is a steal in that context.

Your sig is distracting...

Your over confidence shows me you've never attempted purchasing a SDCC from HTS. It's a nightmare. I haven't been successful since Blaster.

We all have a chance to fight for these off of HTS right?

Some questions.

Will we get some notice as to when these will go up on HTS?

Can Canadaians buy from HTS?

Thanx
