We know that composer Steve Jablonsky will be returning in TF4 as Composer, but Director Michael Bay states that the Next film will be set in Space, and he also said it is incorrect to call the new film a "reboot".

A space travel theme film for Transformers 4? Seems allright.

 

More interesting is that it's only a reboot in tone/content, while keeping the other 3 movies canon.

Interesting move. Let's hope that it brings some fresh ideas into the franchise.

Uh, I actually think "keep it grounded" is code for "yes it will be largely set on Earth."

However, lower budget, mostly different cast, sticking with the same canon, and "more sci-fi" all sound pretty good to me.

Well seeing as all the big name cons were killed... I'm thinking we might be seeing Unicron. At the least maybe Galvatron if they go the way of IDW.

It could be interesting. Then again I've loved all the movies so far and as long as he keeps Sideswipe in it and gives him a little bit more to do I'll be happy.

 

Nolan North must voice him no matter the cost.
