Can't loose what you never had. The only Insecticon that might have been trademarked was Bombshell. Names weren't trademarked at all until 1986 when Ultra Magnus was trademarked. And he was virtually alone until 1988 when Optimus Prime was for the Power Master. The Action Master (of which Bombshell was one) names were trademarked, I think. Not unless that name was reused in the 90's when Trademarking names become nearly universal.
