They managed to make an in-store preorder and got the receipt to prove that the listing is in the computers---not that they actually bought the figure.

Oh...darn. I'm just ready to see what this thing looks like...Hasbro needs to stop fooling around & show it already! ...Or at least give the release date.

there is an article just posted in the US MP10 new thread about it being released next month...is it possible that the 'ThunderCracker" listing was misinformation by hasbro?

No, they wouldn't do that, not intentionally...the lack of pics makes it seem like it was, but i doubt it...I guess we'll see soon enough though.

I did some checking, and the listing is legit. MSRP of $69.99....Should see it on the east side of the states around August....that means you western folks will see it earlier than that with the way things operate I guess.

*wishful thinking, but I still say this leader mold looks good in Blue:

While that has mostly been the case, they just did a reversal with MP-10. The US version will be animation colors, while the TakTom was darker and closer to the original toy.

Either way they go, can't wait to buy it.

Oh, true true...and I can't wait to buy either! Thundercracker is awesome, but the best version of him I have is the Generations Deluxe...so as long as this looks spiffy, I'll buy.

Takara did use navy blue instead of black, and gunmetal instead of silver. Going with actual G1 toy colors will still be quite different than what MP-07 was. (if MP-07 was close to the original toy, I wouldn't have had to repaint half of it)
