Ouuuuuu! 39-50. Niceee! The Headmasters come to earth and hook up with the G1 bots. Op comes back as well as the underbase saga. I'll probably pass on the vol after this tho' as the book fell off in a major way until Furman/Wildman got on the book. Whichever vol that is, that's the one I'll renew picking up.

Furman started with issue 56, which means you won't get to skip any volumes.

ahh, so now they can reprint the curcuit breaker issues and all the other marvel owned stuff? If so that sounds like a must buy for me.

If I want vol. 1-2-3 of the new series, which titles should I look for? This is confusing.

I just have the new version of the volumes 1 and 2. Their great, the remastering process is much less glossy and the colors are hued accurately. The bordering is also kind of classy.
You can recognize the new versions by their mostly black covers. With a character like Megatron splashed on it. The old IDW versions have comic page panels epicly pasted around the cover. Which I appreciated at the time. Because you knew instantly you were buying the orginal comics. The worst to me is doing entirely new vibrant art for the covers that looks like something from the current ongoing transformers IDW covers.

It may be a groovy tribute for the Artist. But I think it discourages sales of those trying to break into transformers shopping on amazon. When they can't find the classic comics easily among the modern comics.

That said. I'm glad IDW has'nt gone down that particular route. But its still confusing enough just from the comic panel cover reprints still being widely available.
