I've gone through that curve before when watching shows/movies/etc in other languages. Or uhhh, there's also that we're comparing them to some of the best voice work around in what we've gotten from guys like Jeffery Combs & Steve Blum (not to mention pretty much everyone on the English Prime cast & the Beast Wars guys who're still fresh in many of our minds) who're all held to a strikingly high standard. Like, I get what you're saying about it not being as big of a focus, but I really do think language barriers & the fact that we're used to our own peeps plays a role in our perception too. |
