From a human standpoint, I thought that he (along with Sam's parents) where one of the few bright spots.

Lennox and Epps are the greatest human characters ever! if Tyrese Gibson wants to be in TF4 then they better have him because like i said him and Lennox OWNED!

I hope he comes back. I loved him and Lennox. They were the best humans. They really fit with the Transformers and I like the idea of the military working with them. I could have done with less of Simmons and Sams parents.

At least with Lennox and Epps it's like the comics with Spike and all.

I also didn't know he got a TF related tat. That's awesome.

Tyrese is good fellow, I would be glad to see him and Josh Duhamel in TF4, they generally well refer to Transformers! And they were all at a concert of Linkin Park in Moscow in that Summer, let them come again!

This. While Sam wasn't too bad to take in the first film, I consistently thought that Epps and Lennox were some of the more believable human characters, especially in DOTM. Tyrese certainly does come across as a genuine fan in this interview and yeah while that blockbuster film paycheck is awesome, I just don't feel like that's what it would be about for him. I think he'd want in just to have that chance to have another conversation with Optimus and Bumblebee.
