sweet. I was actually curious when they were going to release this.

just finished up headmasters yesterday and picked up masterforce today, so I'm all set for this now.

Half way through Headmasters right now, so far so okay, it'll be worth finishing when I get to Masterforce and Victory which I'm looking forward to a lot. However I'm now re evaluating my opinion on The Headmasters, I liked The Rebirth a lot but The Headmasters has a better story in it. (However, I'll always prefer the American version of Brainstorm)

    Quick question

To anyone who bought the boxset from Shout Factory, is worth the purchase or should I just go ahead and grab the individual releases? Is there any exclusive content on that boxset that would justify the price?

THe only difference would be the box that holds all three series. The real reason (I'd guess) that most of us bought it was to be safe in getting a three shows..... fearing that Shout might not get through it all. Plus it wasn't that much more anyway.

    Thanks for the info.

I agree getting the boxset isn't that much more expensive. However, Shout Factory charges a flat shipping rate of $30 to Canada which is where I am. To me, getting the individual releases makes much more sense (yay amazon free shipping!). Especially if the boxset didn't any exclusives aside from the silly Fort Max litho :)

    Great news!
Just got masterforce from beas buy.
Shame "victory" doesn't include zone or scramble city.
Hope Shout will follow this release with "beast wars II" & "beast wars neo".

Just to be a dick.... we already have all these series as well as the complete collection (which I have on backorder. I wish it'd hurry up. I paid weeks ago) over here in New Zealand (and have had them for years), and we have the dubs on them too (well, not all the episodes of Masterforce have the dubs, but Victory and Headmasters are completely dubbed - not that anyone should care, because the dubs are awful), as well as Zone and the manga continuation (translated, of course). I'm guessing that Shout! Factory remastered them, but even so, meh, I don't really care. Still, it's nice for the Americans who haven't had them on DVD before.

I'm not really into Masterforce - I really don't get why people think it's so great - (yes, I've watched the whole thing. The only one I haven't watched the whole of is Victory. And Zone, I guess), but I still think it's a nice trilogy of shows. At least they're better than the Unicron Trilogy. I managed to get through Masterforce but still haven't managed to ever finish Energon, so as much as I'd like to say Masterforce was the worse one, I think I'd be lying to myself.

Are you kidding,Masterforce is one of the worse one? Masterforce & Vicory series are both one of the best show among the TF cartoon

Preordered from amazon. This turned out to be less expensive than the "Shout! Factory" box set. Will be happy to finally have all these series.

I am also onboard for a "Beast Wars II" and a "Beast Wars Neo" complete series.
