Catz specifically referred to Hasbro Asia's comments about not being tied to price points

Anybody expecting these at retail is almost definitely going to be left hanging.

UK Wholesale prices are more money than buying the toys in a retailer like Argos or Tesco or TRU is when they are on-sale. So it makes buying UK Transformers cases a bit pointless unless they were on clearance and it's super hard to find Hasbro toys on clearance unless you have a spend of £3,000.

As well as Hasbro Toy Shop. I have never, ever seen anyone clamor for FE Bee before this thread. Some Canadian TRUs still have them and I wouldn't be surprised if the odd US TRU did too. There is no reason Hasbro should need to reissue that FE unless you've been living under a rock for the past five months or have to get your parents' permission to buy toys.

Well, I think some people were just thinking it odd that the assortment in itself doesn't have even a single Bumblebee, not that anyone actually wanted there to be one in there :lol

Like, I'm perfectly happy with the one I have, but damn if we could use a break for a while, especially when it comes to non-main line shit that's not intended to replace a main line.

Cases of Que available in the Asian market is not out of the realm of possibility: Look at how many US versions of DOTM Deluxe Soundwave were available on eBay, all from overseas sellers for around $30 to $35 each. There must of been hundreds of them.

I was *told* HA Soundwave was shipped in straight cases. Good chance the DX was too.

Pretty sure OJ was found not to be guilty of murder.

Seriously though, I have no doubt that Hasbro will release this shit again when doing so is going for business. You can call me a stooge like Pete for saying this or whatever, but it's gonna happen at some point. Believe me.

If these are easy to get, I'm going to get one of these Vehicons and one RiD.

And no one will want this Bumblebee. That's just whining for whining's sake. For crying out loud, he's still available on HTS.

Their last word at Botcon was that they were in the process of trying to get them out, not that they would start trying to get them out. This was likely already in the works.

I'd love to believe you, but they lied about Animated. They lied a lot of times, as hard as they could:

    • Toxic Oil Slick
    • Fugitive Waspinator
    • Vortex Blurr
    • Mercenary Swindle
    • Goldfire Grimlock (Voyager Class)
    • Blackout (released in Japan)
    • Mudbuster Bulkhead (Voyager Class)
    • Electromagnetic Soundwave (Activator)

edit: and don't forget classics Rumble and Frenzy, another big slab of lies.

It's a business. Plans change. It's not lying when plans change. When they show pictures, especially at Botcon or SDCC, the plans are especially fluid. That's why they don't want you taking pictures. Secondly, when asked at Botcon the response was the standard "we are trying to do our best to get these out" but they also added a not-so-subtle "but we recommend you get them through other means if possible" *cough* "Takara Blackout" *cough*. Apparently the demand wasn't strong enough if Takara didn't even bother releasing a Thundercracker.

There were two HA Soundwaves. The Hasbro Asia and Takara versions the only difference being the card. We know for a fact that Takara ships in straight cases. I'm not familiar with how Hasbro Asia works or how it may work in the future.

But it is lying it terms of effort. If I tell you I'm "trying" to have a baby, you might imagine me, you know, actually fucking some lady. When Hasbro says they are "trying" to get unreleased toys to fans, what they are saying is "this ought to shut them up until this blows over and they forget about the unreleased stuff." If they had even a 50% track record of "trying" leading to actual results I wouldn't dream of accusing them of lying, but I think their success rate indicates they a knowingly misrepresenting things.
