We never limited those to 1 per person through Friday night. Also, those are considered AT SHOW souvenirs. We never intend to bring any of those home.

True but I'm sure those same dealers would have still bought those cases Sunday afternoon difference being at least some of the late arrivals and GA fans could have got a shot at them it didn't take a genius to see you weren't going to be bring those home.

yeah but the fact that you all let the dealers goto town saturday morning on them when the convention is only 1/2 over is pretty shitty considering ALOT of people lined up saturday and watch said dealers basically buy out the whole supply left and then get told "sorry we are sold out"

and now said dealers are jacking the shit out of the price on ebay.

So is the boxed set yet you guys sell those to non attendees.... You all have to know they those purchasing Iacon packages are probably also interested in the other exclusives, not to mention other collectors who may nothave even purchased a box set. So I fail to see the difference between offering an iacon package but calling everything else an "at show" souvenir.

Well the problem here is that they sneezed in a bag and then sold it for five bucks.

Problems with the club's souvenir policy are probably OT, but it is at least potentially constructive criticism.

What if Sunday was the only day that you could buy more than one set?

FP is about making money, even if it means screwing fans over.

That much has been obvious for a long time. It's not shocking or scandalous, it's just a given.

They weren't offered first crack. For those who were there for the whole show it wasn't hard to get Thursday night or Friday (at some points Friday there wasn't even a line). That being said I *DO* think they made a mistake not holding off selling bulk to the dealers until at least late Saturday. Had that been the case I don't think anybody would have begrudged FP for making sure they recouped their investment, in fact I'd say it would absolutely be the right thing to do. But with Saturday traditionally being one of the busiest days with lots of walk ins I think it would have been better to give as many of those attendees a shot at all the exclusives...hopefully converting some of those walk-ins to people who want to go next time, maybe even EVERY time. I'd always err on the side that keeps more customers happy.

As for the headbands, they didn't make them at the same numbers as Soundwave and IMHO nor should they. I know *I* was planning on passing no matter what. I wasn't a big fan of the figure and buying an add-on for a figure I wasn't even sure I was going to keep. Feedback over the headband was pretty negative so I can hardly blame them for not making very many. Kuddos to them for deciding to make more to meet demand, I just hope it's not over hyped "I didn't want it until you said I couldn't have it" hype that dies back off once it becomes available.

This is one of the most amusing threads read all year. :)

Yeah...by now it should be apparent that FP does not limit items to anyone. They are out to make money and that is it. They've done it already earlier this year with the Club Exclusives. What was the excuse....oh yeah, "Because they won't keep their value if they limit them per purchase". Still trying to wrap my head around that one. So yeah..........

They are doing a second run of these headbands? Kudos to them. But they are doing a second run of some goddamn headbands...................

Huh? I was told I set per PRIMUS package when I picked up my set Thursday night. My wife, who had a Minicon package, couldn't even buy an extra set.

    I'm confused.

Would this be a reasonable assumption?

    Price: $5
    Shipping: $10

Value of stamp of envelope when you get it: $1

From what I've heard about them, this is nothing to get excited over, unless, you know, they make them decent this time around. As for spending crazy amounts of money on them.... Like others have said, make your own. It looks better, anyway.

Also, hearing about the Junkions getting bought up really sucks. I thought they looked great, but I HATE scalpers, especially when they buy up heaps. I saw people in New Zealand scalping the Prime RID figures as soon as they hit stores, and once I found them, they weren't even on the shelf. I got first pick from a new box that a staff member opened for me, but what I didn't do was grab the lot and go off to sell them. Anything to make a buck. People can be real asses.

At this point, with all the yellow replaced by green, why not just change the coloration of future SG Soundwaves drawn in the comic? Go green.

They found a way to give us a mass release colours Ramulus instead of the green. Change the yellow to green pronto!

Golden Tickets had nothing to do with the situation.

I can personally verify that one particular dealer purchased 210 sets of Junkions on Saturday morning. That's seven cases, and $21,000, in Junkions alone. Their total bill was right around $50,000.

I'm not going to claim total innocence, or that I didn't purchase any exclusives to resell, but I kept my purchases small and reasonable to try and ensure everyone still had their chance when we were given unlimited access Saturday morning.

This whole thing on Saturday morning having unlimited dealer toy buys was new, but there has always been a chance for dealers to buy some figures Saturday morning, as an acknowledgement that many are fans too, and may be busy during the other chances. They limited it to the first 20, but even so...I felt the unlimited part was in bad taste.

The supply and demand defense goes out the window when someone artificially inflates the demand by hoarding the supply.
