The bios are basically are copy and paste job with minor editing. Dissapointed in that, packageing also looks to be rather 'cheap' compared to previous lines.

I guess that so long as the figures themselves come out OK, I may be able to let the packaging thing slide.

I just can't wait to see how these "scale" with previous deluxes. Definitely getting a Shockwave for both the Classics and WFC displays. Depending how big it is, I may have to get a third to Frankenstein my own Botcon Shockwave from a spare Jazz.

 

yup, as opposed to shelling gout $1,000 to crazy amounts of $2,000 for the official custom class 'Longarm/Shockwave/ Laserwave ' fig.

 

They look *tiny* on those cards...

Almost like scouts on deluxe cardbacks...

Did the cards get bigger? They don't look like deluxes with those bigger cards.

 

That Optimus is so freaking ugly I actualy want to buy it out of pity. I am honestly feeling sorry for that thing's existence, that is how crappy it looks to me.

 

Be nice if a toy did for once...

Too bad tho the toy look bad...needs some paint, tho even that won't save it from those horrendous chicken legs. At least the vehicle mode looks good...

 

That is some huge-ass card art. I'm not sure what it is with these pics that makes the toys look rediculously small, but the on-display versions look about normal size in terms of deluxe packaging:

Wow, I just realized how much panel lining I'm going to have to do to Jazz to make him look less boring.

 

I pray they're not though. But normally when they're casing has them in robot form it's because they're of the shorter lot of deluxe bots.

I'm more worried about that Prime mold since it'll be getting the Ultra Magus treatment and having him smaller than Generation's Kup and Blur could be a potential deal breaker.

 

Those enormous cards seem like a waste of shelf space. Then again, the line probably wont sell well anyway since there aren't any Bumblebees in it*.

Packaging looks nice. That "YOUR ______ figure comes with.." part is kinda weird though lol. Not like it matters of course

 

Is anyone who attended Botcon able to tell us if Shockwave is at least taller than the Classic's Starscream or Generations Scourge mold?
