Could the new Prime really be this small or are the cards that much bigger?

Now THAT is an epic comparo shot!

I don't think the cards are any bigger - 1) it would cause havoc with how much space the retailers set aside for them and 2) the peg cutout looks identically sized.

Holy cow he looks small. He barely reaches WfC Prime's chest!

Those cards are titanic. And not just because of the figures, but the bubble, text and vehicle images all look small, too.

Hey, you know what I like best of all?

No "TRY ME" button, no stupid gimmick, just good old Transformers and some old-fashioned, non-MechTech weaponry.

I love how there is a "Level 0" for transforming difficulty too... what the hell is a 0? Doesn't transform at all? One button transformation?

Seeing them in person, the cards aren't any bigger than normal looking. The new deluxes are just plain smaller.

That prime looks more like a cyberverse in simplicity and size even though I know it is a deluxe. I like both the wfc, and foc prime but in this size it does not translate well in toy form. With the reveal of generations finally getting voyagers, maybe a voyager and better looking foc prime will be released. While they're at it maybe a voyager wfc prime too.

OUCH! Now that's a good comparison.

    Those are NOT the bios.

Can someone PLEASE add these images to the front page before the population of the board which comments on news threads before reading them gives me a nerdaneuyrsm? Thanks!

THERE. And congrats guys on the whole "It looks EXACTLY like HTS ad copy has looked for years, it's CLEARLY A BIO" line of reasoning.

Packaging may have changed SHAPE over the years but the general size has stayed consistent. THANK YOU for posting this comparison.

Though I'm sure people are STILL going to claim the toys aren't smaller. :rolleyes2

Yea... really looking forward to the Magnus repaint for OP. Funny, never thought I'd ever think that... but the bulky/boxy look works quite well for Magnus.

Only con for this repaint would be if he's significantly shorter than WFC Prime... =.

My worry is that he's significant'y shorter than EVERYBODY.

(WfC Prime wasn't especially tall was he?)

Hoping we get some Voyagers in the FOC line instead of all deluxes like the last round. Now that Hasbro knows what we want, they should throw it out, since most of the Generations figures are bought by collecters, nerds, and not really kids. They should be trying to please us since we are also the ones going to buy the game.

Unforunately I own none of those molds - not really a fan of the Cybertron aesthetic.

I just want the Magnus Repaint and Shockwave for my Classics shelf. But I'm starting to think Magnus will look goofy and small.
