Comparing leader class to voyagers, the only way you could compare Animated to Movie engineering. Leader class RotF Optimus Prime was a masterpeice quality engineering. Leader Class Starscream was even labelled as a masterpeice figure.

Animated leader class don't come anywhere near that level of engineering.

To be on topic; I love these figures. They all look like pure win. I hate that I don't have any money or a job. I really want them at retail.

Fickle fans are dissappointing, though. Hasbro gives us what looks like an awesome combiner set in this line. Five unique molds that combine into a giant robot with a new head, normal hands, and feet. Something fans have been ranting for since Energon, and they still cry about it. As much as hasbro tries, the fans continue to punish them.

Now they have made one WFC/FOC Voyager it would be a good idea to do more.


I'm still unsure if FOC Megatron's vehicle mode is different enough to warrant a new toy though as the robot mode has hardly changed - they have just lost his Fusion Cannon.

Magnus is kind of Comparable to the Universe Ultra as they are both sizes they no longer make and both electronic.

There on Animated toy I will not defend though and that is Roll Out Command Optimus Prime - it's Horrible.

If Onslaught had been a Voyager and the Fist on the Combiner had been included with him as seperate bits he might have looked better as a super-robot.

I can understand why they did it that way - and if they hadn't tried to take the mikey with the colouring then we probably would not be having so many decryers of Bruticus because of the colour change from the game on the default version.

Its very unfair on all TF Videogame fans outside the USA that they get lumbered with the mad colour scheme as a default version.

Oh and I was wondering Is they a chance there might be FOC Legion toys too ? what with there being little sign of more Prime Cyberverse and Legion toys and no Movie for a while - it makes a lot of sense to me to do that - as some would make for very easy repaints and make good sense to do.

It would give Takara new fodder for EZ toys too.
