I'm really glad over the repaint. I like the cybertronian modes and his robot mode looks good enough for me as Ultra Magnus. That Voyager Soundwave... will he be a real Voyager or will he be shorter as well? If he's taller than WFC Megatron I probably will still have to get the old WFC Soundwave. Hope is that the new Voyager will be downsized as well and he could be as tall as WFC Megs... *crossesfingers* ![]() visit me: murasame-music // soundcloud // youtube // last.fm // sysprofile | |

Would certainly be nice to have a replacement for the cluster-f#&@ of a kitbash I've been trying to finish for a couple of years now, lol...My Classics Decepticons could certainly use the leadership... |

Despite never having seen more than 2 episodes of the "Transformers : Animated" cartoon, and not actually liking the look of the said cartoon that much. The problem you have with Movie toys is they can be a bit fiddly and have stray sticky out bits and sometimes barely even stand up - I think the thing that Animated toys offered was a streamline look and minimal kibble and most of them didn't have transformation design errors (like say ROTF Skids roof being a pain to move past the hinge), but they still had a good level of articulation unlike say a FAB toy. I'm not saying they were perfect - My Jazz had some quality issues and Skywarp is a quality control knightmare. But something like Leaderclass Bulkhead & Ultra Magnus I'd say is a marvelous toy. and streets ahead of something like Prime Weaponizer Bumblebee & Optimus or indeed the finicky Universe Ultras. That is one of the reason I feel they deserve to be released in the alt colours some had so that some kids have a chance to own them again - This maybe something that might be relevant if the hub say decide to try to show Animated on their station (it would be ideal to show when the other "New" shows are on a break). Also a lot of markets like Australia or The UK either were not at the time interested or never really got the toys when they were out the first time so to many people reissuing them would seem like they were new moulds. But that is an argument that could actually be made for reissuing or slightly repainting the likes of Beast Wars Transmetals or Beast Machines toys too. Or to cluster together a bunch of repaint or reissues to make a new "Pocket money price" Scout line as an adjunt to Cyberverse Commanders which seem a bit thin on the ground in terms of new designs. The same idea I mention for Animated could just as easily be applied to RID if that was shown on TV again in a more visible way. The little Predacon Scouts have never been released individually as yet except in Japan. and they are a trio that still stand up well today... if they replaced the chrome with paint and used a different shade of plastic some people would even buy them twice. I'm a firm believer in reusing old Scouts in some way either as straight reissues, repaints or as the core body of a new Pretender line, or packed in Vs packs, or as part of giftsets, or even with added minicons. – Benjamin Franklin |
