Sideswipe's an easy pass. Kudos on the amount of remolding they did though.
Starscream's definitely better than the actual game model. Still a pass.
Who'd have thought that the worst Optimus Prime design ever would make a decent Magnus?
Kickback looks pretty good now that we know which end to look at in alt mode.
Fireflight actually looks pretty good. He's a maybe.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been looking forward to a line, let alone planned on completing it. I love this line, even Energon Bruticus.  

 

Good god, that Magnus works SO well. About the only thing you could ask for are weapon ports on his smokestack-things. Never thought I'd get excited about a Prime-into-Magnus thing again but clearly, with WfC Prime out there this is the version of the mold to buy. Deal with it.  

Fireflight is weird, no doubt, but it still works far, far better than it has any right to. I'll probably get it just because Fireflight was my only Aerialbot growing up. He can go with Blast Off, who was my only Combaticon.  

IS Sideswipe a retool? Either way it looks pretty cool. I'm liking the Cybertronian Autobot cars enough to make them a distinct subset of my collection...Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Jazz, and Sideswipe are a nice themed set.

And what else to say about Starscream? Ok, the weapon is chunky but it's supposed to evoke an in-game weapon I guess, and at any rate it could be easily replaced.

As for Kickback, why not? Wonder why he's just "Insecticon" here though. I guess we'll see if the "real" Kickback features in the game, or if he's just meant to represent the Insecticon horde. If the latter, the visor face does make him seem like a natural troopbuilder. And even though he's not the Prime Insecticon, he kind of fits the Prime aesthetic.

Thanks for not wasting my time (well, yet) with a minor BB repaint and CJ retool, Hasbro.  

 

Kickback, when I saw him at the panel it eclipsed everything else they had shown for me. I cannot wait for the new insection(s?) to hit.

Starscream in flight mode I was worried about it being too much red but when in robot I see how a lot of it disappears and is replaced by the blue. Very well done here.

Fireflight, I originally had no clue who this was but I can dig how they are doing the mold and can dig him seeing him better.

Magnus with a new head and a nice scheme to differentiate himself from Optimus. Very well done.

Others already been shown I still dig.

 

Pass on everything other than Shockwave and he's only getting a pity purchase to fill in a vacant spot on my Classics shelf.

If that Magnus were a Voyager, I think we'd all finally have a satisfactory Ultra Magnus toy. Because hot damn does that actually look ever better as Magnus then as Prime.

 

Hey, just like the BotCon display toys a lot of these have Movie Decepticon symbols.

...fix it, Hasbro. Don't let that slip through.

 

Magnus and Kickback are mine. Fireflight I really like in bot mode, but the mold is so strongly Shockwave that I hate the vehicle mode as anything else.

 

Sideswipe is a Jazz remold huh...looks better but not my cup of tea.

 

magnus is a repaint/remold of optimus no surprise there......

 

Fireflight - a lot better than what I was expecting, although the alt. mode is still too much Shockwave. Interesting in how the part that forms Shockwave's gun arm ends up retooled to Fireflight's leg.

Sideswipe - extensive retool of jazz, the giveaway is the exact same structure below the hip joint and how the shoulders cover the interior wheels. The entire upper body looks really good, though, so I might pick him up. He's also really overcompensating for something with that MASSIVE gun.

Ultra Magnus - DAT HEAD. Also, his coloration looks really good on that figure. Still plan on picking up regular prime in this mold, but UM looks different enough. He also comes with the massive sword, which is awesome.

Starscream - A bit chunky for a Seeker, but game accurate. What's interesting is that his weapon appears to be a dual-geared mechtech type weapon that unfolds in vehicle mode for the null rays.

Shockwave - yes please! What's cool is that you can see the Decepticon symbol somewhat in his transparent chestpiece.

There's always Reprolabels.

 

Ok... I disliked Prime's new FoC look... but I gotta say... the UM repaint looks great! In fact, I like the repaint far better than the original.

Scream looks cool. Wouldn't be surprised if they repaint him at least two more times.

Fireflight/Shockwave is an interesting look. The repaint and new chest make it quite a big change...

Insecticon's awesome. Still hope TFP Insecticons are made tho.

Jazz/Sideswipe look like reshells... but still darn cool. I'd look into repainting them into other bots I think... perfectly fine with their CHUG versions on display. Great designs tho IMO.

 

Prime and Shockwave are the only ones that I have any interest in. Fireflight looks nice, but I have no place for him to go w/ my current collecting focus

 

Nice looking Bot and Alt modes, the transformations look like they will be a little simple and boring though.

 

I actually like that Ultra Magnus...I wish like Hell that Hasbro had made Prime, Megs, Ultra Magnus voyager sized though : /

 

Yes, that Sidewipe is PERFECT for Jackpot. That must happen. I'm not that interested in it as SS but as Jackpot SOLD.

Ultra Magnus would be awesome on a bigger toy. I'm not sure I want it that small. We'll see...

Fireflight DOES look amazingly badass. Which is just wrong for childlike Fireflight... So conflicted.

Starscream looks better than expected. Not my favorite body for him but the toy looks kinda cool. Reconsidering him as a maybe.

Kickback/Insecticon looks even MORE awesome transformed right in both modes. LOVE HIM. He NEEDS to get repainted as Ransack as well! We need more Deluxe Insecticon love!
