Shockwave. NOW!

I'm nearly out of collecting TFs (with the classics G1 cast nearly done), so I'm not buying much anymore, and barely follow the action on the TFs scene. But this Shockwave is really great, and I want it!

A shame if that line will be of small deluxes, but still, gotta love me some G1-ish Shockwave (who never had a earth mode anyway, so the FoC mold is right up his alley  ).

 

I like the repaints better than the originals. Shockwave needs to follow soundwave with a voyager redo. Starscream will be mine

 

We talking like Prime RiD Bumblebee? That one is on the shorter end.

 

I'm surprised by how much better Ultra Magnus looks than Prime.

 

Starscream and Sideswipe look really awesome in both mode. Looks like I'll be having 2 more UMagnus figures added to my collection this year, Cyberverse and this one. Gen Umagnus face looks okay, simple, remind me of Titanium G1, also would've preferred his eye blue.

 

Unfortunately, they are never guaranteed for the United States, especially recently.

Kickback's alt mode looks much better than the con pictures, but it still looks like he is mistransformed.

 

Wow---lots of surprises here. Kickback could definitely sub in for a Prime Insecticon, and Fireflight's just unexpectedly awesome. Good customs potential there.

But the fact that Hasbro's putting out official shots now makes me curious...how far off are these guys from release? Some of the Botcon reports listed these as 2013 (with Voyager Soundwave), but that can't be right...can anyone confirm this?

 

Starscream looks awesome, best of the new bunch. Looks like a pretty good batch here. I wonder what the case assortment will be?

Sideswipe, Magnus, Fireflight, Starscream, Shockwave and Kickback will all be purchased on sight. I can't wait for the (hopefully) inevitable Skywarp repaint so I can add it to my Classics collection. Brawl is a "maybe" for now, but otherwise I'm skipping Bruiticus.

Hopefully FOC Iron Hide and Ratchet are around the corner.

Ultra Magnus looks better as that mold than Prime does, and glad to see he's in true Magnus colors, and not a white repaint. Definitely keeping my WFC to keep them looking different. Starscream and Kickback look great, and Sideswipe looks good too. Can't wait to see these guys on the pegs.

I'm glad to see some decent figures coming out that folks will want.

Out of the lot, only Shockwave is on my list.

 

I will own them all, and my wallet will hate me for it.

 

- Combaticons - The combined mode still doesn't look very good, but the individual figures are neat.
- Kickback - Much better, now that I can make out what the alt mode is supposed to be.
- Sideswipe - Probably my least favorite of the new stuff, just not very interesting.
- Fireflight - For a repaint/remold, surprisingly nice. I'll definitely get this one.
- Ultra Magnus - I'm not terribly fond of how FoC Prime looks, but this redeco makes the mold look a lot more appealing.
- Starscream - Not bad, I'll pick it up. Hopefully, the other two main Seekers will be produced as well, eventually.
