What's not to get? FoC won't be around next year. So they are cashing in when the game hits.

Prime will be around next year, so they figure they have time to cash in.

Also, no movie or game next year. So Prime and Classics will have to rule the day. So saving them till next year.

At least that is my thinking anyway.

Damn Ultra Magnus, Fireflight, Kickback, Sideswipe and Starscream look sweet.

Fingers crossed that they post some new prime toy pics on facebook now as well.  

 

OMG. Magnus and Starscream are definite wants. I might pick up Sideswipe. HHHHhhhhgggnnnnhh.. Good lord, are they making up for how shit some of the Prime figures have turned out?

 

Love these! Starscream and Ultra Magnus are both excellent. And already love the Optimus and Shockwave molds too.

 

UMagnus looks like the best toy of the line! Perfect look for the character and the bulkiness of the mold fits like a glove.

SS and Sideswipe also look great, except for the fact that the trend of stupidly oversized weapons seems to be continuing from the dotm and TFPrime lines.

 

I'm hoping for this too!

 

It's easy to see why so few prime toys were shown off. Any new character reveals would be SPOILERS. They want us to be surprised when watching the show. I'm glad for that.

My thoughts on these guys:

Optimus still looks bad.

Everything else is awesome. Ultra Magnus sounded dull at first, but seeing him? Man, that looks great. I just wish this mold was a voyager now, because I want a big version of that to be my classics Ultra Magnus.

The Sideswipe remold of Jazz looks much better than Jazz does, but the tiny legs are still bugging me.

Everything in this update will be purchased.

 

No bolo-tie for Swindle?

 

I cannot adequately express just how much I want every last one of these. I admit Magnus' face seems a bit plain, but it still fits nicely. And I'm liking the general look of the new weapons these figures have; they all manage to look suitably big and mean, yet not too clunky at the same time. They kinda remind me of something you'd see in the actual game, which I imagine may have been the point. Starscream in particular looks like he's packing that new multi-barreled version of the Scrapmaker we saw in early FOC screenshots.

 

Damn, they all look good, even the remolds.

 

Some of them look nice, others? Not so much.

 

Wow, these look great. I hope we get skywarp and thundercracker repaints of starscream.

Optimus mold works more for UM....question will these be the same size or bigger than WFC molds?

I will pick a few up....I think with Bruticus, I will get the SDCC version to keep MISB...the retail version for individual bot....Shockwave and Fireflight has to be the mold I have seen work with 2 different characters...I do have to understand these photos are photoshopped...
