Not even a showcase for Breakdown or any other of the upcoming Prime stuff? I mean Dreadwing looks cool as hell and not compromised by the powerizer gimmick, but that's all they got to show?

I have to stop working myself up for Botcon.

I have a bad feeling that Breakdown and Skyquake won't be seen for quite a while. I mean, they've got that pirate as a Voyager in the Prime line, but nothing for Breakdown yet?

I'm glad I got the Takara preorder on him when I did...

2 part sdcc box. The larger one acts as a sort of art book with the decepticon window box pulls out of it.

I echo the sentiment concerning the "lack of big reveals". Really, only 3 new figs, and no news whatsoever concerning new TFP characters (well I guess there was the Shockwave tidbit last night) I would be pretty pissed if I was attending the con with the expectation of getting such news. Guess we have to wait for SDCC. I set the bar very low and I think that Hasbro got over it but just barely!

As for the figs: voyager Dreadwing looks great and his mech tech gun is nowhere near as derpy as the others in the series. It actually looks like his show weapon. I am in a quandary as to whether to get this or the cyberverse fig which is also excellent. Airachnid looks okay. I am still hopeful she is a triple changer with a spider mode.

Looking at the figure, I would say there is a strong possibility for spider mode, as the legs seem to make the rear of the copter. I'll eat my hat if Crazydevvy hasn't already discussed putting out replacement multi jointed heli-blades / spider legs.

I thought of something that might make the Retail version a better choice.
Anyone notice how the SDCC toy's parts are mirrored to the game?
I also see Vortex's hand is mirrored, so we might not be able to get a game-accurate setup with the game-accurate colors.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but all of the Voyagers on display have had their springs taken out so that they stay fully extended. Dreadwing's weapon is pretty much the same as Optimus Prime's.

July I think, and San Diego. Hence the SD part - San Diego ComicCon.

And people, we've already seen the prototype for Breakdown earlier this year. It's going to come out eventually. Just be patient. And no, I don't mean the Cyberverse figure.

That pretty much admits to everyone seeing them that they are as much of a failure as a gimic as unlockable Mech-tech weapons were.

They must only have one Dreadwing then (no vehicle mode shown).

Dreadwing looks like he'll be the best Voyager of the line so far. Hopefully they really do make a Skyquake redeco at some point, too.

Hasbro mentioned at Toy Fair that each of the Combaticons (except for Onslaught) will be able to be any limb; so he's a total Scramble City-style combiner, with each limb able to function as any arm or leg.

You are just totally unrealistic. This was a big news con compared to last year.

We had no fewer than a dozen brand-new figure reveals.

    Prime: Thundertron, Exclusive Cliffjumper

Generations: Kickback, Sideswipe, Ultra Magnus, Fireflight, Soundwave, Soundblaster, Ravage/Rumble, Frenzy/Ratbat

Plus, we got to see in person/get confirmed for US a ton of stuff we've heard about from Asian sources.

Yes the artwork on the box looks real bad ass. Def. want to get that to go with my Prime line.
