Wheeljack he's that Character who was in a couple of episodes on the 80's cartoon and a couple of Dreamwave comics I think... He's nearly as thin on the ground as skids and Hauler though otherwise.

I suppose he was in more stuff than swindle though.

 

Sean Long said that Chris Latta the voice of Starscream/Cobra Commander and Wheeljack (just to name a few) was also added to the hall of fame.

Wheeljack was in quite a few G1 eps. In addition to making the Dinobots (& appearing in pretty much every ep. they were in), quite a few eps. focused on his inventions either blowing up in his face, malfunctioning as he tried to use them in the field, &/ or being stolen by the Decepticons & used against the Autobots, & I think once or twice Earthlings, too. He was also in the background (usually w/ lines) of several eps., as well. Not to mention being the very first Cybertronian ever seen in the cartoon. Wheeljack is in more G1 eps. than people realize.

*edit* Check all the links to episodes on his TFWiki page. Example: the only G1 Season 1 ep. he isn't listed as in is Transport to Oblivion.

It took a bit for the videos from previous years to reach the net, & therefore TFW. Just be patient. I think the only video never to make it online was Erector's. Though, I do think the music is usually changed (when non-TF music was used), which could be responsible for the delay.

 

I just checked the date of BotCon 2011 and when the Ironhide video was put up with a difference of 8 days, so it looks like we're getting them next week.

It's Wheeljack, he's more iconic than 99% of the ones demanded by the "hardcore" fans. Best choice IMO.

I can't believe people really get upset about this, to the point where you use the word "fuck" in your bitching. Think about that. You're using profanity because your choice of a Transformer didn't get into the "hall of fame"

 

What I find weird is that many of the Megatron backers are accepting it, like myself (Wheeljack was in my nomination list of 5). It seems to be the G1ers complaining.    

 

The only bot I really cared about is finally getting inducted this year anyways...

Haters gonna hate. It's all about the journey, not the destination, mang. By your reasoning, Einstein is but a rotting corpse in the ground and was never a scientific genius. I'll say it again; Wheeljack created the Dinobots. We love him because he was a wacky mad scientist and inventor, not because he was ever a great warrior (though the TF Prime show fixed this XD).

 

This was the right choice. I mean, a G1 character deserved the induction, and frankly, everyone was campaigning because of Prime Arcee, so this is the only choice that made sense in my eyes.

 

As Beast Wars Megatron might say: BLAST IT ALL!!!

... But still, well done to good old Jackie, even though they gave him bullets for teeth in Dark of the Moon. (Seriously, what?)

 

i voted for Arcee, but Wheeljack is fine too. At least it is not another Beast Wars character. I hope this give another reason to release DOTM Deluxe Que in the USA. The TFW2005 Podcast will be more interesting. I am also glad that people did not have to pay $45 to find out too.

 

So was it just Wheeljack who made the HoF? Were there others honored this year?
