You know what annoys me? After Con's, the con exclusives are ALL what people have on their want lists. Same went for FE Prime

I caught that too, and was even getting worked up thinking there might be a mold difference on Vortex (left or right hand), but after some checking it looks like the thumb is reversible.

I'm more disappointed by Bruticus having a hollow torso that's not much more than an oversized PCC core bot. I'll still buy it with great enthusiasm, however, since nothing's perfect and there's a lot more awesome than weaksauce.

... no, still dumb from their perspective.

The SDCC version will sell out regardless. By making the much less desirable version the retail version, there's a very good chance it'll sit around on the shelves. I mean, the whole point of making the figures tie-in to the game is that they... tie-in. Why wouldn't buyers want the accurate version (that's also better looking).

The whole "kids like bright colors!" thing is bullroar... or at least, internally inconsistent. They've been gravitating towards dull colors for years, specifically making Classics figures duller in order to capitalize on the movie's popularity. Besides, Bruticus itself is already more colorful than a lot of figures, especially... well, pretty much the entire DotM line.

When has HasbroToyShop traditionally put SDCC figures up again? Wasn't it the Monday after the con the last few years before this one, but then it took an extra week or something this past SDCC?

Colours be damed. The thing i cant unsee is how the front of Swindle's car is at Brut's knee and not his toes.

Personally, I have no interest in this thing. But I'm gonna try and grab one for my 8 year old cousin. Nobody should be stuck with Neon Bruti.

The retail version is five separate Deluxe Combaticons in crazy color schemes. This more game-accurate one is sold as a boxed set that will be exclusive to Comic Con.

Not only are the individual deluxes priced at $15, this set has a LOT of packaging. Basically an inset box with Bruticus that comes out of the main box. I think there are also some extras (paperwork and details about creating the set) but I could just be misunderstanding what was said, I didn't hear them all that well at times. So yeah, pipe dreams if you are thinking $50, or even $80 in my opinion. Last year's Death Star was $130, and while it had more figures in it, the overall size is similar.

That's ignoring Zarana, Slaughter, Death Star set, off the top of my head. I'm sure there's more.

The fact that it's going to probably sell out fast will make it even more expensive. I'll settle with the main release.

    Ebay.

I want to buy Combaticons twice, one team will form Bruticus and second team will be in robot form only. But that neon crap is disgusting and I will never pay more then $100 for exclusive. Hasbro, I sucks again.
