Great to see pics of Bruticus better combined! Also... dying to see some of the later Waves of Prime merch.. rather than what we've already seen in stores or better yet.. in-hand!

 

august for prime, jazz, and shockwave?!?! October for bruticus?!?! WTF happened to a "summer" release? And yes I know august is still TECHNICALLY summer but this is just BS. I don't care how many figures we get, I'm getting real sick of Hasbro screwing with the fans.

 

So I guess bruticus is going to be those fugly g2 colors after all........sigh  takara dont let me down!

 

Every time I see FoC Optimus now it looks worse and worse. I may pass on it entirely. WfC looks much better.

Jazz looks nice, though I guess I hadn't realized how much blue was in there. Shockwave looks great.

I'm really hoping Takara does a game accurate and/or G1 accurate Bruticus, or maybe it gets released that way at SDCC since I'll be there.

 

Check out all the silver on the side of Knock Out's vehicle mode, that's WAY more than what's on the version being released now. A variant, perhaps?

 

The new packaging for the Generations figures looks cheap :/ & Optimus stilll looks stupid, I'll only be getting Jazz & Shockwave! Looks like they're sticking with those colors for Bruticus so Im NOT getting any of the combaticons!

Weaponizer Optimus looks OK. I hope those guns on his shoulders can flip away like they do on Bumblebee. So far its pretty dull & disappointing.

 

Look at how TINY they are in the deluxe packaging...disgusting. $14.99 for a bigger-size Scout figure. Ugh.

 

god they ruined that Bruticus with those colors. I hope someone asks wtf they were thinking.

 

The more I see Bruticus, the more I don't want to buy it. The neon is damn near nauseating, it's too much. Plus, what's with a lot of the releases lately (RID Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, FOC Bruticus, etc) having the long gorilla arms? If you can touch your leg below the knee without bending over, then it's not very proportionate.

Bruticus is the same hand-painted prototype we've seen before. We can assume that they're going to be these horrible colours, but please god can't they find someone who can transform it properly? There's no way it's supposed to look like that, surely...

Shockwave looks fantastic! Bruticus well hes a definite pass in those awful colors.

My thoughts on this year for transformers as a whole.

 

Shockwave is a buy on site, Jazz is maybe, Prime is... ok but is a pass

The Combaticons are officially a giant pile of crap, IMO, that will be a major pass.

EDIT: I'll still might buy Blast Off and maybe Vortex as well.

 

Cannot wait for Shockwave, but every time I see Bruticus, I expect the disco ball to drop down and the black lights turn on...

 

Sad to say that the only thing that interests me here is the Generations line up... and even then, only Prime, Jazz and Shockwave. The Bruticus wave looks... Well, just horrible and cheap compared to wave 1. gonna hold out for a Takara release of these guys.

The Prime toys are a super easy pass here... Nothing of interest in this line at all for me.

On one hand I'm happy that Bruticus can look a bit nicer when he's posed nicely, but I'm worried that so far the only physical toys we've seen are in the Energon colors. I hope they don't pull crap like the game accurate colors are a retailer exclusive or something.
