Ditto. People are going nuts paying over $100 for that Straxus. These are the "I want it NOW" people without patience. I'll gladly give someone my $50 in a few months when demand drops.

threw me for a moment, wreckgar is in the first panel and then the second has 1 scrapheap and 2 junkheaps.

I know I gotta keep telling myself that. I totally budgeted to pay the scalpers this weekend. but I've got a goal in mind so I'm waiting for those prices to pop up.

This happens every year. People lose their minds and start over-paying ridiculous amounts, and then six months later are trying to off-load them on TFW trying to break even. Fisitron went for $100+ the week of Botcon, and then a month later you could get it for $60. Same thing will happen with Straxus. The only set I can see staying high value are the Junkions.

I dunno... the minute that Maketoys decides to make a purple tanker, I could see that SG G2 Prime becoming a hot potato.

I will admit that I was hoping for a SG Perceptor for the freebie instead of Straxus (Magnificus!! ^_^) since that could be another easily re-purposed toy instead of 'SG and SG only'
However I'm still hoping that someone will be willing to get the Junkions for me and I can pay them cost via paypal ^_^ Hope springs eternal and all that

Glad you posted my photo to stop the insanity.

Octopunch, Optimus, and the Junkions are Shattered Glass.

Kick-Off and Spinister are G1. Kick-Off has a new head sculpt and Spinister uses the DotM Vortex head with Tomahawk's weapons.

The Junkions have all 3 heads. I'm hoping that the Junkheap head has the proper horns/eyes this time around.

    This completely.

My girlfriend is a huge Animated collector, so when she heard about the Botcon Animated figures, she wanted all of them. This was my first time ever buying figures from Botcon while it's still going on, so I figured "Man, it's so hard to get these older ones, I gotta buy the ones I want RIGHT NOW or pay higher prices in the future!!"

Just like you said, a few weeks later prices dropped. I could have saved a good deal of money.

People gotta remember that most people aren't going to list their figures from the con itself; they are going to go home, take some time to get everything in their life back to normal and then go ahead and list their figures. Then, when there are so many figures up, prices lower as people need to make their Con money back and will undercut.

I would be interested in a Spinister if its not a character you love... He was one of my last toys bought before I got into "cooler" things as a young teenager, would love to have an updated one...

THIS. As long as people keep calm and don't go crazy, then prices will fall for these exclusives. Sadly, looking at eBay, there are a LOT of impatient people out there... the same ones paying $150 for a Straxus now, who will try to sell will get offers for $50 a month from now.

Also keep in mind, some exclusive do eventually hit the Club Store. For regular Con prices.

So is the Bard of Darkmount lemon yellow, or is he gold? These pics (and the ones on eBay) look closer to the latter.
