Pre-ordered Starscream at BBTS but I'll pick up Bulkhead at retail, should I happen across him. Couldn't justify the BBTS mark-up on him when I own the superior FE version.

Ahh, ok. I thought you were confused because of the Dreadwing CVC release being so near.

 

Dreadwing is in wave 3 at one per case. 


I swear, Hasbro is freakin bonkers with what their choices in the waves have been so far.

 

I have FE Starscream, so not sure if I want to shell out the cash for the Voyager version. I'm tempted, though...

 

He's only one per case and not even in the next assortment, so if you're on the fence about him take that into account in your decision making.

 

Even though WE don't want it, kids will just because it's a big (relative, I know) Bulkhead. I think regardless of the area (and it looks like ass compared to the FE) he could be kind of bought on sight for most. Scalping? Hell yeah they will. It's the only release in the U.S. of it's size and probably period. If you don't have a FE it's your only shot at a complete Team Prime. People will buy it and with the quickness because of that. Never underestimate Powerizer Beanhead.  

 

What these assortments are clearly missing is 3x Voyager Bumblebee.

But seriously, with Optimus being 3 per case in the first wave, and 2 per in the second, they could have cut him down to 1 by now to make more room for Bulkhead, who seems to be a character favorite.

We will have to compete with the kiddies for this one, especially with those Hulk footprints leading directly to them in Target and all.

 

This is good news, but I'll probably still have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to get up here!

 

But Megatron was 1 to a case for a while and he wasn't hard to get at all(and darn near ubiquitous now that we've seen the case revision.)

How is this different?

 

Kids love Bulkhead, Megatron is the bad guy. It's that simple. You don't have kids do you?

 

Two actually. They've only watched the G1 series with me and one did indeed loved Megatron. (Prime is a tad mature for them IMO).

 

Doubt it. I'm 99% sure that Deluxe Wave 3 will have gone from East to North by Wednesday, because my TRU gets a shipment then. (I call reserving them!)

 

Yeah it's no wonder why their quater business profit of whatever it's called is down.

They forget new guys sell better than rehashes.

 

They get a little older, you'll see. Mine actually hated it after playing with my FE for so long (pretty much his anyway now really)but he changed his mind and wants one now. I may get mine back so it's not a bad thing.   Your opinion is your opinion. I'm not trying to dog you or anything but I believe you and a lot of other may be surprised how hard it could be to find him and his popularity. I could be dead wrong on it. He will be bought up like crazy, IMHO, over the various reasons I stated before. Honestly if they would've fixed those lights, his big beanhead, and a couple minor things he'd be somewhat passable. As he sits though he just doesn't look too much like Bulky to me, whole thing is off and I already have Animated Bulkhead.

 

I'll have to add these two to my list of figures to look for.

 

Same here. I'm still trying to get FE Bulkhead so fuck the mainline version unless the former option is impossible for me.
