And I just ordered Hot Shot and Knockout last night -_____-. I can still try to find 2 of those Vehicons, though!

I'm here in Ireland and like the UK we've only seen wave one. You guys bitched to the nines when we got them first and now hasbro has left us cold yet again. No use in being smart to the fellow board member!

I'm not being smarmy, I'm sympathizing with him. Please re-read my thought. I was happy to see those guys getting first dibs on the Prime stuff because they get shafted on so many other lines compared to the U.S.

 

No. It's oddly not. I really really wish I was exaggerating. I had a detailed conversation about it with the woman who ran the section around the time wave 2 of the 2010 MMPR line was released. Unless for some reason or another she was pulling my leg, which doesn't seem like her as we've talked before. I can't place logic in my statement. It confused me. It seemed to confuse her too and it's the only time I've ever seen anything like it anywhere... The manager tells her not to order toys unless the shelf is bare. Now even though she said order she could have meant restock the shelf. Which still makes no sense... Toys are always low stock on shelves there, and it's usually a few waves behind on lines.

I must have missed a meeting or something. Is the game still coming out? If it is, you should relax. If not, we understand your boycott, but don't spread your venom...no one cares if you're going to buy Hasbro products or not.

 

Does anyone know if Takara will be doing a Knock out? I am not happy with the Hasbro one and generally Takara does a better job. I really want a Knock out since he's my favorite in the show but I was seriously hoping it would look better.

Actually, this might make sense, as she's probably not a buyer/person involved with ordering, and anything she would be ordering would pretty much be on the side or otherwise extra/for emergencies. Even if she is involved with the higher tier ordeals, the store (being rather centralized, especially compared to businesses that're ran completely on their own) itself is probably at the whim of higher power/head office whims that direct a good amount of inventory flow across the state/area/counter/whatever, and its having a negative impact in your store.

Like, there's obviously pluses (mostly in regards to cost saving which contribute greatly to why Wal-Mart's on top of the food chain) to running shit like this, but its not very responsive to actual conditions, and thats why your toy section sucks as bad as the one where I live (its been mostly bare since October of last year). Or I dunno, an evil wizard did it. Could be that, too.

 

Glad to hear these are hitting US retail, although I already had the set of three come in from BBTS. Given that I've only seen Arcee and Ratchet once each, I'd imagine it'll be a long time before I see Hot Shot/Knockout/Vehicon in my area, but I may pick up an extra Vehicon if I see one.

I tried to hit up the same Targets but the shelves full of Ratchets, Arcees and Soundwaves must be preventing them from putting out the new waves.

 

I may swing through Wal-mart again later - depends on what the girl wants to do when she gets home...

Gee, maybe it's because Hasbro and the manufacturers and the stores like talking about things with a more frequent release schedule than a game? Or that they have updates more often than the game? Maybe you should complain to High Moon that they don't update us poor peons often enough instead.

Funny. They've been doing a fairly good job of releasing the ones I want.

 

It would be nice to grab these before they disappear, at the store where I live new bots (xcept bumblebee of course) dont last long at all, and i do not want to pay inflated prices for knockout and some vehicons.
