I agree with you about them being unassembled as putting them together sounds like a lot of fun. Stickers however just look plain awful to me and have no business being on a Transformer regardless of how big or small it is.

Please also add "IMO" somewhere in my comment because I'm sure SOMEONE in this thread will have an issue with how I initially stated it.

I get what you're saying...I've done four so far (the partners to Prime, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Megs) and have mostly enjoyed putting them together. It's a neat and quirky change of pace....and though I don't mind the stickers now, thinking about these figures and how they age is something that worries me because if/when those stickers start peeling, the micron stickers can be really tiny in some places and it won't be fun trying to find them if one day they just fall off sometime in the future.

Actually, they've since corrected "Bulo" to "Balo" (better), and I think they have the correct translations for the Autobot and Decepticon partners... The Bots' partners are named using letters from the name of the character they're paired with (Optimus Prime is paired with "O.P.", Cliffjumper is paired with "C.L.", etc...), and the Decepticons' partners are named using shortened versions of the Japanese spelling of the animal they turn into's name...

These things just get my cogs going. I'm tempted to just buy each right now for 4$ each.

Me, too. Much easier to paint, if I decide to.

In fact, I wish all Transformers came on runners with a little baggie of screws and pins. It would make it so easy to make the toys look so much better.

Can someone tell me if these, being Mini-Cons, can combine with Unicron Trilogy Mini-Con pegs?

Awesome. Definitely getting Red Cliffjumper and Skywarp's minicons (wife already bought me the AM figures of these and I don't mind double-dipping the minicons since they're in different colors). A few of these new microns are weird and some of them I don't need doubles of (red Ravage, for example, since I already have the normal Ravage included with Terrorcon Cliffjumper preordered). Very cool that I can choose to get Scorponok by himself. Ratbat I wonder if we'll see him sold separately since I already have Voyager Megatron but if Darkness Megatron ends up being the better painted version (without having to rely on stickers) then I may pick him up too.

I would love to pre-order some of these guys but $8 a piece is a bit steep. I would like to at least get that Scorpion one though.

No. These are more like targetmasters. They have pegs designed to plug into 5mm ports or hands.

The Unicron Trilogy minicons use an opposite method. They have plugs that peg.

Isn't the name of the Decepticon Microns just a robotic sounding contraction of the animal mode they turn into Bull & Gorilla ?

(Though I think Skywarp's Micron looks more like a Mountain goat than a bull to me).

OH and the Minicons should work fine with Energon toys (and some Cybertron toys) as they had both kinds of ports both male and female.

Between fine-point Gundam/paint markers and enough use of fine brushes, I'm confident I can get them detailed to my satisfaction without the stickers. :)

God, I want 02, the one that turns from the Butcher Knife to a bird. That's just... so awesome.

    Sorry for the bounce but.....

Has there been a change in the shipping order for these? I had 1-6 down as now with 7-9 following in August...... The most recent Figure Oh scans support this too....

But HLJ are processing my 1-3 & 7-9 as we speak with no movement on 4-6, the repainted pack ins.

Preordered most of these buggers via RK ages ago... half of them should be shipping out soon, with the other batch at the end of August...

Bit cheaper to go that route... but unfortunately shipping almost nullifies the savings. =(

If anyone else has an HLJ order for these can they check and see what their order status is saying?
