I do love that cover, but I just wanted to put this out there...

Is anybody else really put off by those loopy little rings that Prowl has around his shoulder cannons? I think they look pretty stupid, and must be a pain in the ass to draw (and they often look awkwardly drawn, for that matter). I wish they would just get rid of them...

Ive been thinking that since i first saw prowls redesign, that and his stomach lights, just doesnt do it for me.

Agreed. They look like silly, Buck Rogers-like space blasters on an otherwise totally modern robot design. It's jarring. It's like if The Dark Knight Batman had the silly drawn-on eyebrows from Adam West Batman.

Right! And the shape of them is a bit peculiar, so they always look sort of like Prowl has those silly-elastics (or whatever the kids call them) looped over his cannons. Maybe they're presents from his BFF?

I'm mostly fine with this Prowl design, but I miss his wings, and those cannon-rings get me every time. Ugh.
