FP did not start the thread on here. They posted on Twitter, where they also mentioned it was a color sample only. Your issue seems to be with the original poster, who brought over the pic but failed to include the relevant info, as opposed to FP. In your rush to bash FP, you fail to acknowledge that. Personally, I do like to get as much info as possible, even when that includes samples that may not be entirely correct in all areas. I just think there is plenty to gripe about without inventing new things solely to bash them with.
I can see the issue, but hey.... I doubt a single Botcon toy is made that doesn't go on thier shelves too...if thats the toy they wanted then thats ok. Plus if they HAD done a robot head, well then that would be a diffrent color scheme/toy as well.
Regardless, I'm just going to call it right now - I see nothing that proves this issue won't pop up again. If they can't assemble one sample correctly who says they can do the rest right. They have to paint all the parts so all the parts should be there for assembly of a paint sample. For the sake of everyone who bought a set I hope I'm wrong. We'll see. Until then I'll drop it.
hmm and to think these toys would be sooo much more impressive and worth the price tag if they WERENT FUCKING REPAINTS!
I kinda like it. As someone who was actually around when they released those guys it's kinda nostalgic I guess. Not sure if it's enough to want one though. Hmmm. :/
Process didn't fail to include anything. The tweet the picture is in says "The boys in action!" and nothing else. Nothing relevant from that tweet was omitted. They clarified that it's a color sample in a later tweet, to one person, where no one who doesn't follow that one person would have seen on their twitter feeds. In YOUR rush to defend FP, you have failed to acknowledge THAT. Perhaps you should tweet that in a way that allows all your followers to see, instead of just the one person you were replying to.
/\ Thanks for pointing that out. I looked at the tweet and saw nothing about samples. It's nice to know the FP PR machine is as full of shit as usual.
Or the two right arms (and the angle of the pic) are a distraction from the fact that the face didn't live up to the potential of the sketch.
But... Metalhawk WAS a Pretender.... and his shell looked just like this mo-- You know what..... nevermind.
You want them to design around 10 exclusive molds from scratch for the convent? That would cost a fortune.
that thing STILL looks horrible they should of went with his inner robot design instead of the pretender shell
i still question anyone's ability to function in normal society if they actually think this looks good
frustrating isn't it? LOL. people complaining "why did they made a toy that looks exactly like what they were trying to make a toy of?....why didn't they just make something completly diffrent that I can't even be bothered to come up with an idea of?!"
