"Let’s start with My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. This has been a breakthrough show for us. It’s clearly penetrated the culture. We were recently recognized by ADAGE as one of the hottest brands in America. What we are seeing is significant result in terms of viewership, especially among the older girls; 6 to 12 year old girls who are not only watching the show but now starting to get more deeply into the brand."

Clearly Hasbro isn't aware that a large portion of the show's audience is actually male. I'm personally not into it but I have so many brony friends that I've lost track of how many. :lol

A ton of Jargan from hasbro, have no idea what they are talking about in some of that.

Hasbro gaming? does that mean video games or board games? Sounds like hasbro is planning to do everything in-house or something, which makes no difference to me.

If hasbros toys designs and size keeps going towards animated asthetics with small figures i could care less about what hasbro does, the most recent hasbro transformers i bought was generations warpath, and that was months ago. i guess im going to be buying old transformers of the net.

As was mentioned in the Quarterly link, I hope all of this doesn't take away from their main focus: The toys. I understand that they want to expand in every way, but if it means less quality toys, then I'm not for it at all. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Although, Kre-O Star Trek is kinda cool. Does this mean they will be able to do other Star Trek toys? Or is this only possible because it's tied to Paramount?

I wonder if these more of these ridiculous toys were buying the toy allows you to play part of what I assume to be an underwhelming videogame (probably online, I just really haven't paid attention).

Everything I'm reading sounds like hasbro is moving further and further from what interests me. We'll see.

Is Kreo really selling that well?

A Kreo Star Trek Enterprise might be tempting....

No real excitement for Transformers though.....didn't like what I saw of the Kreos on display at Toyfair. Stuff might be getting a little too gimmicky for my taste.

Thats W I think. They're getting to gimmicky & not really paying enough attention to what figures should be. We want figures (TF's) with good articulation, nice transformation & overall satisfying. Not something that lacks b/c u wanted to give it something it didnt need. (light up gimmick:redface2: )

It's already affecting the KRE-O stuff. The KREONS have clear chests & they're adding clear pieces to them:thumbdown . They said the KRE-O line was a big hit & it didnt really have a gimmick, just fun building with cute KREON characters. Why fix something thats not broken?:peoples:

As I said before not too long ago, the only way I'll buy Kre-O Star Trek is if we get a Kreon Picard out of it.

Or Kreon Q, I'm not picky.

Well why do you like Transformers? Everyone has their own reasons to like it or dislike it.

They're(Or at least the studio that makes FiM) very aware of the Brony community, they've put a lot of references to fan things in recent episodes of FiM.
The new "Gamification" thing sounds like it's going to be interesting, can't wait to see what'll come of that.

I like how Hasbro is afraid of telling their share holders that greasy sweaty 20 old men are the new pony audience.
