Sneak Peek TF Prime season 2 now available on Verizon cable

I was check what Transformers G1 videos were available on The Hub on demand this morning and notice a couple of new entries on the Verizon Fios network.

- Five minute preview of Rescue Bots

- 12 minute preview of the first episode from the second season of Transformers Prime

Update 2: SPOILERS for those that asked and cannot wait to see it.

Episode starts with same opening sequence as 1st season

Episode opens with Ratchet telling others that it stands to reason that without the wisdom of the matrix, Optimus has lost himself.

The key card Jack was given by Prime before he faced off with Unicron (OP contingency plan) provides access to Vector Sigma and the wisdom of the Primes. Now only Jack can bring Optimus back.

Optimus has reverted back to the archivist Orion Pax

Megatron tells Orion that the warlord Ratchet, the Doctor of Doom, careless actions has caused Cybertron to be in its current state. He says that they are Earth to protect the planet from befalling the same fate as Cybertron

Megatron states to Kncokdown that when they stormed the Iacon Hall of Records during the waning days of the war for Cybertron, the Decepticons were able to acquire certain files. Only the integration of Orion Pax gives us the opportunity to decipher these encrypted Autobot files.

Megatron had Soundwave sanitize the data core so Prime does not find any sensitive files that may clue him in to who he really is.


Unfortunately, Vector Sigma is on Cybertron. Ratchet begins work to turbo charge the ground bridge reach Cybertron.

Project Iacon: (The term used for what Megatron has Orion doing at his workstation) Orion is rusty, but he decodes three things that are possibly coordinates....He believes they were notes targeting locations on Earth. Could be ships (foreshadowing new TFs??). Orion says his greatest fear is that they are locations for Weapons of mass destruction


A few lines I liked....

"Agent Fowler yells at Ratchet "Hold up, You mean there is a microchip in my butt that tells the government when I stop for donuts, but your telling me you can't just track Prime?"

Megatron commenting on Orion's arrival in general population...."The first Decepticon who refers to our guest as "Optimus Prime".. will have their voice box torn out."

Knockout to Orion when he is etching his Decepticon symbol...."Welcome back to the winning team."

Sierra to Jack as Arcee pulls up at the Drive thru where he works..."Your Mom looks really good in leather and on your bike."

I need too see this! Although if I do it might just make the wait more painful.

Hm, Optimum has Hub on Demand, wonder if it's on there too.

Yeah, now I need to go home and check Comcast today

Do you have cable? Does your cable provider have an On-Demand service? Does their Free On-Demand channels contain the Hub on Demand?

Oh man, I just dropped FIOS because we weren't using it that much (Hulu Plus + Netflix + iTunes for the rest = less than cable)
