I don't understand the issues with the new store. Why is everyone so upset?

I was hit, cancelled my card. Renewed via a check in the mail. Got my log-in for the new store. No card on file. No option to automatically renew..

What is everyone so upset over?

Your kidding right? Read the last 387 pages please.

Also should you have had to do all that because FunPub plays fast and loose with your info? Info they are STILL putting at risk, even now after there MILITARY style upgrade?

It's a big deal to many people and a giant inconvenience to most.

Just don't trust them with your CC info again. Big deal. I guess I'm just not upset anymore because it's over for me. I don't care how or why anymore. Oh well...

Fair Enough if thats how you see it. To each there own. To me, I think there should be some sort of reprecussions for all of this especially in light of the new information about the invoices.

I don't think they should just be able to sweep this under the rug. It's a poorly run company, that through incompeteance or arrogance, put every single one of its customers personal information in harms way, then had the stones to blame us! Now they wont even tell us the extent of the breach, or why our CC numbers were stored, as they are fearful of a lawsuit. And rightfully so.

I see your point as well. Honestly, you basically summed it all up for me. I was wondering if some of that had already been answered and I missed it but I see that it hasn't.

That's right. Just let a company go rogue with your information then reward them with more money. That'll show 'em.

I don't think what they did with printing out all the credit card info was criminal, but it was definitely unprofessional.

Theres a reason other companies have to blank out most of the card number. If it isn't illegal I think it should be. That's not information that should be available to just anyone.

I could be wrong, maybe it is illegal. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they were so negligent they've reached the point of breaking laws.

Ah... the vocal minority. Hear us meow.

So does anyone around here happen to have any friends who are attorneys? I was thinking of contacting one tomorrow just to ask a few questions but figured I would ask here first. This sending credit card information (with CVV) through the mail on invoices just stinks.

No, it's a new CC, they can either work it out with the bank or cut me a check. I am NOT giving them my current card.

So much for the "we don't store credit card info" line we got earlier. If they didn't store it, it wouldn't have been available to print out on that invoice...

You have to do it within before 30 days of the show. I am going to fight their cancellation fee as well.

I have been thinking about this ever since they basically told me Tough Luck about my Back and Knee Problems. All of this has pushed me over the edge.
