I've had 0 issues. i was able to order Runabout/over-run when his pre-order went back up and I've had no fraudulent activity on my account since the pre-order.

The only slightly odd thing is that i had 2 confirmation emails come.

I was not able to buy Monday and bought Over-Run when they went back up. The day after, someone in Australia tried to charge $375 worth of K-Mart merchandise to my card. Probably not a coincidence.

Actually, I'm not sure how it can be anything other than a coincidence in that situation, as FP was using an entirely different system by that point in time. You don't have all that much in common with the others who have had problems, on the basis of that later purchase, whereby FP's site would be the culprit.

Did you TRY to order on Monday?
Because that's what happened to me. I wasn't able to order them either, but I did try and entered my CC # multiple times. It was processed then denied.

I never got to Monday. I joined the club on Saturday when my card was stolen.

Yea, this is pretty much how I felt about it. I really wanted the exclusives but I passed. I already had my new card by Wednesday but the bottom line is I just don't trust them. I can't give them my business if they don't accept Paypal (and I hate Paypal). Fool me once....

So credit cards have been compromised with the latest TCC sale? Why am I not surprised? Oh! Because BOTH BotCons I went to resulted in ID theft. It seems to be TCC's gift to me every year - having to cancel my cards due to fraudulent charges.

No joke: In 2010, someone went on a Disney shopping spree in FL with my card number (not long after I returned from the trip), and last year it was someone racking up charges in a town near Pasadena, CA. Now, it could be coincidence, but both times it was a card I used mainly for club store/BotCon reg purchases.

Hopefully, the new credit card processor they have in place will have tighter security. But I now have the wonderful gift of potentially cancelling TWO credit cards, since I was in that battle on the "failure day" of exclusive ordering last week. One of those cards went through. Do I cancel both to be safe?

No suspicious activity on my PAYPAL DEBIT CARD. Even if there was, Paypal would take care of me.

I have to agree this is the biggest issue. I'm no longer use to carrying cash to pay for things.

My paypal debit card was compromised 10 days ago. Based on a thread here and a thread on allspark it seems that some people who purchased the club back on april 27th had their info stolen. I was hit for a couple of transactions. One completed, the other was pending. The completed one took a few days for paypal to reimburse my account (the dispute is still going on). The pending finally expired a day or two after that.

I'm still waiting on my new card. So while it is easy to work with paypal on this and get my money back (temporarily) I'm still waiting for a new card. Luckily I was able to transfer the released funds to my bank account. It's a real pain in the ass.

Just checked my account. No fraudulent charges showing, but then again, the charge for Over-Run isn't showing either. However, on my Collector Club account, I have my invoice showing. Is this normal?

Holy moly, I was wondering why this thread was still getting bumped. If it is TFCC's payment handler, I'm double glad I decided not to renew or buy the exclusives this year!

I purchased the club figures on Wednesday. Did not attempt to purchase them on Monday and I have seen no fraudulent charges on my CC yet.

That's the key word "mainly". It could be that you feel prey when you used your card for a non club store/botcon purchase. It could also be the credit card company FP uses has been compromised.

With cell phone/smart phone cameras it's very easy for people to take a picture of your card if you're not careful when you pull it out. The wife and I were at a Barnes and Noble last year checking out when she noticed a guy in line happened to have his smart phone aimed towards a woman's credit card. She had pulled it out before she had gotten to the register and was not covering up the numbers on the front. Turns out he wasn't trying to take a picture of the card (just checking his email), but it could happen that easily.

I ordered Wednesday, 2/1 and don't have any fraudulent charges on my account, but all traces of my order seem to have disappeared with the exception of the two emails I got from the club. I verified there was a "pending" charge on my bank account from Funpub a few days ago, but that's gone. There's no Over-Run/Membership renewal under "View Orders" in the Club store and I still can't log in to the Club forums, though I expected a delay there since it says it could take 72 hours for it to be processed.

I'll give it a couple of business days since I know they're a relatively small operation and probably haven't made a dent with the tons of emails/phone calls they've likely received over the past week. If need be, I'll call them later in the week and hope Angie answers since I don't feel like getting hung up on by Cathy (who I now imagine is like "Peggy" in those credit card commercials   except she doesn't at least pretend to be nice).

How'd they come to the April 27th date, what happened on that day, and does that correspond with anyone else here? (I'm guessing it doesn't since I think this is the first year Stormcrow ever dealt with the club)

Looking at my purchase history, that was the day Animated Cheetor and G2 Ramjet went up for pre-order.

well I bought G2 Ramjet and I never got hit, and I bought Over-Run but I haven't been hit yet. I -did- get hit in October last year, and I always assumed that was an overdue hit from the TFSource fiascos... but the thing is, October isn't a period where anyone else was getting hit (with both the TFSource hits and these new TFCC ones, the people being hit seem to be getting hit in a general timeframe. My October hit doesn't correlate with anyone else)

OK- add me to the list of people whose card numbers appear to be compromised. I used one CC on Monday to purchase the figures (amidst the craziness). Then I went back soon after to buy a shirt, using a different CC (Discover). The one I used for the figures seems OK, but the Discover Card now has a pending Yahoo Wallet 1.00 charge. It appears to be one of those suspicious test charges. Calling Discover now...

Update: they told me just to keep an eye on my account. It could be nothing, or...
We'll see, I guess. Not looking good, though, considering similar problems others have been encountering here. I would definitely recommend that everyone keep an eye on their cards now, though.

I bought the figures last Monday: my order, made by iPhone, went through in one go (no declines).
My CC was properly charged for my TFCC order; but luckily no other unauthorized charges have yet showed up.

I get the feeling CC-info which was declined by the CC processor (due to overflow) was picked up by someone who was then able to abuse that data.

Sometimes the compromised info isn't used for months. Sometimes it might be used right away.

Correct. I'm just glad they changed processors.
