You know, if this continues to gradually happen, there will be people who will get compromised while AT Botcon next month.

At this point it's pretty much a given.

I didn't know what card I had used with the store, but I do now. Just got the $1 "FOUNDATION FOR ANG" test charge. Dammit.

That's what mine was as well.

Luckilly my bank declined the £1, so no more was taken.

It's not going to be fun trying to pay for a hotel room with a compromised card, and then trying to clear it up with your bank, on a weekend, all while you're out of town.

It's in most REPUTABLE companies Terms of Service. It was no in FunPubs.

Man, I really thought about joining the collectors club, but I think I'll pass. You all sound like your getting shafted. And for what? Insignificant repaints?

Thanks for the insight on this company. It sounds like they don't know the first thing about being a merchant.

FYI for anyone still unsure which card(s) they used with the Club, just e-mail/call to ask. I had used my cards almost 3 years ago and they were able to give me the last 4 digits of my card (all that I specifically asked for) with no hassle. Its odd that it was still on file after this long but seeing their admin sheets I now understand why it was so easy to look up.

I seriously have to start wondering is a class action suit is warranted here. This is a complete debacle with tons of misinformation and the fandom is paying for it with time and money.

My friend is a lawyer always looking to go after companies like this so I will be talking to him soon about this.
