Fandom Card Issues 2/2012

So what about the folks at work, who only have access to email, my job blocks facebook, and twitter while your on the clock. I'm not going to search through social media formats when I get home for a fan-wide warning that was quickly lost in your t-shirt drive. I've liked your page on facebook, and had to go looking for the "statement" you made. The only reason you guys didn't send out a member wide email is because it would have negatively affected your sales, by rightfully scaring off the customers. My fucking rent check just bounced because of your arrogance, and now I have precious few days to get this sorted out with my bank, and hopefully not get evicted. I will never buy anything from funpub again.

I called Friday to give a heads up that there was a compromise with my card. I had only used it at two places in the last month. I also called the other place I did business with. The service rep was very pleasant to deal with. The customer service rep took note and asked me to email her the exact info. Unfortunately, since my old card had its account locked, I won't have access to any of this info until I get my new card. These things happen and I hope it all gets fixed soon so I can renew my membership.

damn i wanted i was going to renew my club membership so i could get the free figure but now i am not sure if i should with everyone getting hit by these fraud charges ..

We have commented a few times in this thread about this subject over the past week. That post yesterday though was by no means the "official" statement. I have since released that in this thread.

We can only follow up if people email us. I am working with cust service to make sure no emails were overlooked though.

Concerns can also be called in. We are tracking all calls as well...

Why are you guys not being more proactive with this, such as making sure your customers are aware of the issue? What is the benefit of waiting for US to contact you?

So that it won't hurts their sales. There are tons of people who aren't forum members who have no idea this is going on and will keep placing orders. If there isn't the fandom is tinyier than I ever imagined.

Got a call from my bank today. Fraudulant charge with yahoo wallet and some "charity". Haven't had ANY issues before with online shopping. Even managed to make it through tfsource's breach of security twice. I can't say for sure it's this Tfcc mess, but seems a little too coincidental that so many of us have been hit either imidiately or shortly after the tfcc mess.
