Yes because Hasbro reps are known for how well they transform the figures. I think they are the people that transform figures for photo shoots.

 

I've gotta say, I LOVE Blast Off's alt-mode.

 

I was liking what I was seeing until I saw the arms. They look goofy.

 

Onslaught looks fine.

Brawl looks awesome.

Swindle looks solid, but very generic. Between losing his alt-mode, getting his Alternator face, having a random pistol... absolutely nothing about the figure other than the color scheme strikes me as Swindle-esque.

Vortex looks great, except for the colors. He looks like a reference to Stormcloud (Energon) - Transformers Wiki. But... WHY?!?!

Blast Off looks AMAZING. I am so excited for him. Good robot mode, good vehicle mode that homages the orbiter well, and nice colors.

Reserving judgement on Bruticus in hopes that he's mistransformed. The legs and body look great. Arms... less so.

 

Try stacking 2 DOTM Deluxe class figures and see? :X

After looking at these guys again and again you know what. I'm down with it. Ya wanna know why because I bet you 9 dollars and 50 cents that all the guys that bitch about part formin and kibblin and all of that good stuff will have a bot Gesalt without detachable fist and legs.

Maybe this time around Hasbro wont short us on completing twins,trios or teams.
if they did it with the combaticons then they can do it with others too.
let our voices be heard and send a message loud and clear to hasbro that we want full sets not just half of a team, and that bruticas is the start of something wonderful..

How is he gimmick-less? Combining IS the gimmick.

 

Does anyone think that Brawl's cannons can flip or turn the other way. If they can cover that purple skinny bit on the leg it will make the figure 100x's better. I also hope that the arms can compress more. I think that is likely because Blast Off looks very mistransformed in the elbow area.

EDIT* Actually looking at the pic more closely I will garuntee that Blastoffs arms is mistransformed. Look at the untouched stock pic. Vortex's arm is way higher than Blastoffs. In fact Blast Offs arm almost goes as far down as Vortex's arms WITH THE GUN.

I really get the feeling the final product will be a lot tighter than this first stock photo.

So is Transforming but that has never stopped Hasbro for hindering that gimmick for other gimmicks.

Haha, you mean those combiners that came out nearly 30 years ago? Yeah those are totally valid comparisons.

 

The funny thing is that people want shoulder extensions for Hercules so you can get more movemet from the shoulders. Just goes to show you can't please them all.
