It was definitely Frank Welker. Using the new "Prime" Megatron voice. It actually fits quite well.

Honestly, I don't actually recall seeing this one. Was it a pre-kick-off commercial? Didn't start watching till about half-way threw the national anthem...

 

No it was shown here in North Carolina as well.

 

On first look, that head doesn't look like BB's. Close, yes, but something looks off. & the body is definitely NOT BB's. I did catch some of that commercial during the game, but wasn't really paying attention.

I didn't see the TF: The Ride one either (thousands of miles away from you; still US), but I was barely paying attention. Sought it out online. See below.

I think I read it was supposed to be shown during the Pregame stuff; but I acutally stumbled upon an actual schedule (self-admittedly incomplete) on the Super Bowl Ads site that didn't even list a TF commercial. & that was checked at least once after the game started.

 

Something about Optimus just inspires one to pay attention. Such gravitas in that CGI character, love it! Not a big fan of short spots like this- as they really show nothing- but I suppose if it inspires people to seek the ride, job accomplished.

 

head in the other commercial looks more like Bonecrusher.

and yeah, Prime/Cullen's voice can really grab ya. And DAMN. Megatron's voice gave me chills, if it really is Frank, LOVING the new voice. No offense to Hugo Weaving, but I wish they'd used THAT for the movies. DAMN

 

There were two TF commercials shown before the game started. There was the one for The Ride, but there was also one for Dark of the Moon which was on before that. I was watching it and it looked to be a theatrical trailer, and at the end it talked about the theaters. What was that commercial?
