I do believe Drift has sold out. (When I tried to place an order, it updated the number available to 0.)

i agree, i think the first few will pop up, sell for a lot, then as more people get their extras, or change their minds, the prices will level out to near club retail prices...

true, but even then, still easier for 2 figures to sell out before the Iacon sets... also, these are more desired due to their target audience vs the botcon toys.

you know, if there's seriously someone who was in a coma and missed these toys, i'd totally start a paypal fundraiser with other fans here to buy them both Runamuck AND Runabout... but i'd totally need verification of being in a coma...

true, things do happen, and that could cause you to end up not having the money, but ultimately if you have to pay a hospital bill, fix your car, buy food, whatever else, that's far more important than buying toys...

how long was the money in your paypal account? you've known these figures were coming out around the end of January, you could've moved the money like a week or two ago, right? just in case? and the club made almost twice as much of this as prior exclusives, so what else could they do? just hold 1 for you until you're ready?

i agree that they should allow Paypal, or at least say why they can't/won't, but you're mad because you're not into this set and you can finally go to Botcon? that's not their fault... they created somethin they thought fans would dig & it's not your taste. obviously some people like it, and the club will NEVER make a figure that EVERYONE loves...

like i said above, i doubt the prices will be too extreme, especially with the production numbers...

Glad I bought a runabout when I did Wednesday evening. Drift, while interesting, just wasn't good enough for me to bite, never dug the character. I decided that money is better put aside as a start for money to get Botcon SG Tracks, who will also be red. Yes, that sounds much more appetizing.

OMG its 2012 and you couldnt get a greendot card or even easier a paypal debit card. Its not like every site in all of the internet takes paypal. Yes it would be nice for them to accept it but trying to blame it all on them for not taking paypal is a little much.

I got my order in. Like many others, I can't believe I'm paying $68 (including shipping) for a deluxe.
And hey FunPub, $3 for bubble wrap? Really? What's up with that?

i've explained before, I use paypal, which is linked to my bank account, for my purchases online, like ebay, between other transformers collectors, bbts, ami ami, etc. Its rare that i have any money in my actual paypal account so i've never needed the paypal debit card.

If the club would of taken paypal i'd have runabout, that's all I am saying, I'm dissapointed that I won't have him but you don't see he throwing a huge fit do you? The only reason I even claim blame towards the club is because if the club would of taken paypal my account wouldn't of messed up a few days ago and all would of been good, but what can i do? The club loves to believe its the 90's when it comes to the way they run their website

Man that totally sucks man, you may want to filter through some of these pages, a couple of folks orders messed up during the mess on monday and have an extra 1 or 2 charged to there invoices.

Wish i had the loot earlier today to grab a couple extras for fellas like you, but my pay day is tomorrow, and could only afford 1 Runabout on top of the new membership and sg drift yesterday.

There was a limit of 20 for Runabout. There has also been limits on past items as well, just not often, or low enough to truly matter, for the most part.

Lots of places don't take PayPal. You made a mistake transferring funds, AND you refuse to get a free PayPal Mastercard - just how is that the Club's fault?!
Do you have this same fit when you can't use PayPal at Walmart or Target?
    This.
    And this.

There is a limit of 20 per order. Folks can place as many orders as they want.

Sorry, I don't mean to come off so grumpy (just got home from a long day) or that I'm singling you out. I just don't understand the people that gripe about the Club not taking PayPal, but refuse to do anything about it! They took my PayPal just fine, but I made the "effort" of saying Yes, send me a free PayPal Mastercard debit card (it's on the opening page of your PayPal account.) Best thing I ever did, with PayPal! It doesn't cost anything to get it, or to have it and not use it, and it is very convenient when I do want to use it. Plus, I get a 1% rebate when I swipe it. I mean, the Club is hardly alone in not taking PayPal, whether online or in person. They've never taken PayPal, and it's not like they've hidden it. Why does it seem so hard to take the initiative and arrange other payment methods, in advance?

^let me explain something, I got a regular bank account, with a regular debit card. I got that bank account linked to my paypal so I can use it to safely make purchases on the internet without having to put my credit card information. I rarely even put money on my paypal account. this money was sent to me by a fellow board member since he wanted me to pick him up a SG Drift and since i am middlemanning him botcon toys he sent the money to me so i could get Runabout for myself. I've never needed the paypal card so I never got it, so how is that refusing to get it? this all took place this week. I saw the club couldn't take paypal so I made the move to transfer money from paypal to my bank account, but it messed up and ended up doing the opposite, but fixed itself in time so i could at least get his drift. If the club would of taken paypal, I could of had not to deal with the issue of the messed up transfer and everything would of been hunkydory. I would get that card for paypal if I ever legitly needed it, but up until this point I have no use for it, and afterwards I won't need it anyways.

saying the club should accept paypal is a legit complaint, expecially how some folks credit card information has been compromised very recently during this whole thing, but I don't know what happened to all that so i don't know.

lets say I went ahead and got the card, it would of not made any difference in this situation cause by the time it came in it would of been too late, so, what is your point?

Don't worry, I was entirely agreeing with you. It wasn't grumpy at all.

No prob, the "^^" wasn't directed at you, I though I might've been quick enough to follow up my previous post, this late at night.
