go figure.. when we don't want new molds.. they give them to us..

yet.. when we want a new dotm voyager ratchet.. or a leader megatron, or leader blackout, etc.. we don't get them.

    it's all backwards bullshit.

my fear is.. they're going to realize the error of their ways.. and rerelease the molds with some shitty deco.

Yeah, I was thinking that to. The decos, particualarly with FE Optimus, is about as good as they get with Voyagers these days. If they release it again, it might be something way off or some gimmick color set.

When I ordered mine, all I did was select the shipping service I wanted but nothing more than that. Can anyone else that's ordered from them before provide more details?

just wow.....Hasbro is a ******ed company...lets face it fans the ONLY way we will ever get accurate toys that are actually worth getting is through 3rd party companies. im extremely disappointed with hasbro seeing as though they cant seem to get it through their skulls that there are more adult fans than kid fans. ive lost all respect for hasbro.

You must be joking. You seriously think there's more adult fans than kid fans?

    That's fucking incredible.

Only about 10% of the Transformers demographic is is adult collectors.

That's something that's occurred to me too...just to avoid wasting money on molds that don't get a domestic release, they redeco them later on but the redecoes range from "meh" to "blah."

I really wish Hasbro had some kind of liaison to the fan websites that could communicate breaking developments like these cancellations. More direct communication would be better than this, especially if we end up getting non-answers at Toyfair and Botcon, if anything at all.

Spit Lip - I think we're beating a dead horse here. This fandom just seems incredibly blind to everything but what they want to perceive.

You keep saying that but its not the case. where is this proved in any way? I've managed 2 toy stores, comic stores and I am frequently in the stores and It is always adult (late teens and up) that are buying these. kids are buying bayblade, bakugan and crap like that. I talk to these people and know that they are the collectors not kids.

Hasbro has told us this themselves at several botcons. we only make up a small percent of their income.

where are their reports that state this? did they do a presentation? I never and I repeat never see kids buying transformers. I have seen parents buying TFs and the kids always looked bored and walk off to the hotwheels or bayblade section. Collectors are the ones that are buying these figures....sure some parents might buy a few figures for their kid but it is the completionist collector that clears up the pegs and buy multiple copies of each figure in many cases.

My (almost) 4 year old son LOVES Transformers (though I did kinda influence it). He most especially loves the Rescue Bots and anything with lights and sound...

My mother runs a daycare for years , none of the kids there have any interest in TFs...
I managed 2 toys stores and comic stores and you think I haven't seen to many kids?
I never see kids grabbing TFs off the shelf and put in the cart or ask their parents to buy it for them. If you didn't know what I meant...wow...just wow.

If a kid is getting TFs, it is because his parent is a fan and the kid grew up with TFs in the house for the most part.
You might see kids picking TFs in your neck of the woods but thats not the case around here at all.

You still haven't seen enough kids.

My sister and I regularly stop by the toy aisle in stores (my sister is nice enough to look for stuff I'm looking for if she's out) and most episodes of kids going batshit is when their parent or whomever they're with is dragging them away from the Transformer section and they want an Optimus or Bumblebee or whatever. I have two younger cousins that both love Transformers (among other things) and neither are because of influence from me or anyone else (their parents are older than I and were teenagers by the time Transformers were popular in the '80s).

For what it's worth, these Prime toys have generated the few times I've seen kids or kids' parents specifically ask store employees (at TRU) when the Prime toys are being released or when they're getting another shipment in. I haven't seen that with Movie stuff, Classics or Animated.

That's just my experience. They don't define everyone elses, but certainly yours do not as well.
