Hi, just checked out Argos web site and saw this (source: argos.co.uk)

Good news the thing on his left hand is a weapon  ..... YES!!!!!!!!!!

Also really cool that Megatron has brass knuckles and from the looks of it the sword and canon are one piece with the sword looking like it scissor flips out trying to mimic the way Megs's sword comes out from between his canon and forearm on the show.

 

Ok that looks much better   Damn can't wait to get this thing to match up with TFP Prime!

 

When did they actually update the page ?

I hope your right about it being a slideable sword breaker and it isn't his only hand... if only as I like my toys to be able to hold things and I'd not want him holding a staff in the same hand as his fusion cannon.

Anyone feel like telling them they have the wrong description on the Poweriser and Revealers - otherwise why have megs picture.... I knew idiots like Argos would confuse "Prime" the line with "Prime" the Character.

 

I hope Megatron will feel better in hand. I'm not digging the articulation seems that I'm seeing in the picture. I've been unimpressed by Megatron cybertronian planes before. The only one I really like is Energon Galvatron, who was Megatron, but I got the purple one since that was his ultimate form.

 

Argos has clear images of the upcoming TF Prime figures that were shown in the catalogue scan, and I saved the images/took some screenshots. I thought it was worth a separate thread so we could start the discussion with less speculation.

drat, so that probably is hotshot. but that vehicon is seriously sexy.

 

Steve is looking good. XD He's a bit anorexic and I'm still not sure how to feel about the shoulder/arm and leg kibble but the absence of back kibble is nice. I do believe Steve will lead my modest little platoon of Vehicons!

Hot Shot is bleh. That new BB mold is doing him no favors.

Have Argos changed name of Deluxe and Voyagers? All I see is "powerizers" of something to that effect.

 

Yeah I think Voyagers are "Powerizers" now and Deluxes are "Revealers"

But it looks not to bad I can see they are not grey but they are not to dark of an alternative shade to the body it seems.

 

Sigh, I wish Hasbro would decide on a name for the classes and stick with it. Powerizers and Revealers are going to add even more confusion when we talk scale in the future.

I had to do it that way as well, it was kinda tedious getting one sliver of the top corner at a time.

 

The retailer solicitation names have changed but the toys still say Voyager & Deluxe on the box - I think the new tag might have something to do with the light up feature on the Voyagers - I'm not sure yet what the smartphone thing is about though.unless it's just the standard 3D barcode thing. They are trying to hype as if it's something special.

Perhaps if someone has a smart phone and the toy they can try it and find out.
