Good on ya', Hasbro.

I always felt that, every time I bought a toy, I kept thinking "Man, this is a LOT of garbage...and EVERYONE who bought this toy is making the same amount of waste..."

I'm unfamiliar with the components of current toy packages; I imagine this will affect the plastic bubbles on the cards and that hold Voyagers and such in place in the boxes?

The wire ties were a horrible thing to start doing anyway, security or not. Nevertheless it is good they are trying to clean things up and I will be a little happier when buying my transformers in future packaging

so my question is....if they eliminate PVC which is the plastic bubbles that cover the toys..what is going to protect them on the shelves & pegs? Many hands touch Transformers and most are kids...they will be scuffed and everything if they don't have something protecting them.....

And I never understood anyway, why they couldn't just make the inner plastic tray form fit to the toys, to eliminate the ties altogether a long time ago..a lot of other companies never used ties in their toys...to me they used way, way too many on some that weren't going to fall out anyway, like the Classics Magnus v Skywarp set....way too many for such light toys.

While I can't complain if a company wants to go green what will this do to misb guys like myself? An open TF's box will look pretty weird if u ask me. I guess we'll have to wait and see though.
