FWI-2:cannons for DOTM Ironhide L

 

The cannons look great, but they couldn't find a way to place them in the correct position?

 

Agreed, nice looking but he had forearm cannons not hand cannons.

 

It's unfortunate that Leader Ironhide has such kibbletastic forearms. And the cannons look way too big for DOTM Voyager Ironhide.

 

It seems like there should be some way for them to use that kibble so the cannons could attach to the arms...

 

well, I can certainly use them for Classics. This is going to be kept on my radar.

 

Yeah, them being handheld kills it.

 

Although the fans did want it, we didn't want them this way lol!

 

Nice cannons, and I'd want them, except is there no way they could arm-mount them?

 

Mount 'em to the forearms, and they're bought immediately.

 

Looks great on leader ironhide, but it's overkill on voyager ironhide.

 

i'd personally prefer all new forearms with the cannons... just replace them when you want to transform them.. but i doubt most people would want to go through that each time.. i know i wouldn't mind at all.. just as long as he looks more accurate.

 

it is a deluxe ironhide btw....


and man, why couldn't they add the guns to his arm-kibble? there are pegs on each side which are VERY strong and good for them, i did this on mine, and it works very fine!

shame cause there's 4000 spots on the forearms where these should have gone...

 

I thought that, too, initially, but now I consider these points:

1. If there's ever kibble, it's almost always back kibble. At least with this mold, the kibble situation is a little unique!
2. We treat his gigantic fore-arms as his ammunition storage, too. So, instead of having a chain feeder to his backpack or whatever, all of his ammo is kept in his arms.

 

A sentiment that will probably be echoed by man.


FWI: Take note.

 

Looks cool, but no 3rd Party Heavy Irons?

 

Hopefully they'll listen and change them so that they can be arm mounted. And hopefully toss in some extra weapons so you can have the DOTM look for him as well.
