It sounds like there may be a 3rd party battle damaged Unicron head being made by someone named DR. WU. From what I can tell, it'll come with a transparent base so it can look like it's floating around and also be able to replace the head on the Armada Unicron figure.

would be superb to get a full third unicron! although i am looking forward to me 25th anniversary unicron arriving in the next few days the chest has always bugged me along with the cannon that comes out of it

 

I'll buy one just to "float" around Primus in Planet mode.

Speaking of, weren't we supposed to have information and updates on pre-orders like, oh a month ago on those? I'm all for the work they are doing, but hope they can actually get them all to production instead of just teasing us

 

I can say I have zero interest in this venture so far but it has been added to the 3rd party future release list in the tf toy section  

 

we definitely need something for all those poor armada unicron bodies crying out for a better looking noggin than what they are stuck with....

 

Well, the Armada head is show accurate to Armada, and with the various releases of the new G1-ish head and decos there isn't much need to upgrade the old one considering the price of a new 3rd party head would rival buying a secondhand complete version of the new Unicron anyway.

Plus, isn't the head of Unicron (either version) held in by pins due to the transformation anyway?

 

don't know...i do wish however they would re release black energon unicron with the new unicron head sculpt...that would be sinisterly bad ass evil looking!

Regardless, some pictures of the back of Armada Unicron's head would be nice.

 

I got a floating Armada Unicron battle damaged head with my Cybertron Primus and that will be good enough for me.

I KNOW this isn't the case but if that head was big enough to fit classics figures in, I'd be in heaven 

 

I think this is brilliant because I made a small video game where you ARE unicron's head! I will HAVE to buy this!
