Does anyone know if the 20% facebook coupon will work on already discounted sales items? Kre-O is 20% off already, and if I can use my coupon too... that $60 Kre-O Optimus is coming home with me.

 

I just tried to do that with a kre-o set, and the system won't take it.

 

My TRU says it doesn't show that they have it, or are planning to get it. Aren't all stores getting some?

No. Only busier/higher-volume stores get some. It was the same with MP Grimlock.

 

Same here, but I can live with it. Looks like the kind of thing pretty much all of them will have.

 

I'm from dfw Texas and I got 4 and they all have the same chips on the left side of the chest.

Fellow NYC, the TRU Timesquare now has Rodimus at 69.99. There are at least 2 dozens left and is located by the TF area across from the dinosaur. So with the 20% coupon I was able to get $55.99 and with tax it brings back to $60.

 

I went to a Toys R' Us today and I saw that there were none left on the shelf but I asked an employee to check if they had any in back. He told me that there was a case in the back but he could not find it. He checked twice and even had someone else check as well, but no luck. He asked for my contact info so that if he finds them or they get more in, he would put one aside for me. Sucks that some employee(s) probably hid a whole box of them  .

 

At least they are in the store somewhere. Hopefully you get the call soon.

 

AZ TRUs finally got some in. I used the FB coupon but was rejected. Apparently someone already used it and it's a one time use coupon (8/7 for a Optimus Prime -- different rewards ID... a member here?). This doesn't make sense considering I'VE never used it and used my personal pc and fb account to print the coupon. Something's fishy here and I'm going to try to climb the corporate ladder to get to the bottom of it.

 

I got mine today at a NH TRU. They are limiting them to two a person. That's a good idea since it limits scalpers to just one extra one.

 

I purchased an MP Hot Rod today at the TRU in Torrance.

Seems to be happening at a lot of stores. I bought a couple extra to hook people up. It happens.

 

Unfortunately, that's might not be the case. If an employee or someone else jacks a figure or case after it has been scanned the computer will think it's in the store when it's not.

 

I was told last week they had 4. Went in and it was a 'shipping error'. Called today, said they had 2 of 4 left. When I got there, they couldn't find them, but the computer said they didn't sell. Thinking employees are hiding them. I told the manager it had been happening on the forums and she got real adamant she wouldn't let any employees do that. I felt like a jerk even saying it, but WTF - i keep checking and getting screwed over.
