Was at my local Target, they had a display of kreons. Notice Sideswipe looks like Ironhide. Its Ironhide....dont think he a bonus figure....wasnt able to find the Kreo set he would belong too...

 

i think i heard something about ironhide and hound figures havingbeen designed/produced.

That Ironhide Kreo isn't even out yet.

$5 says some jerkwad busts the display, nabs Ironhide and plops him up the eBay.

Also, may I request a pic of the whole display?

 

If that comes out in a Hound or Ironhide Kre-o set for under $30 I might have to buy it. Now I have to go check my Target.

#1. Hasbro is truly insane if they don't figure out a way to get these Kreons out seperate of the sets (blindpacks, multipacks, HTS/BBTS exclusive, what have you) It seems like everyone is just over the moon on them. (they're so freakin' cute!!!)

#2. I know Botcon and SDCC had some pretty lame panels this year, but doesn't it seem REALLY odd that they didn't show another/the next wave of Kre-Os? I mean, basically we have Wave 1 plus Sentinel Prime right? (who was kinda like Wave 1.5 as i understand it). I hope they aren't leaving it at what's out for the year...

I'm torn ~ I got my son big BB for his Birthday next month and Sideswipe for a "just because" at the TrU BOGO50 last week, and they are doing another one this weekend, but none of the wave mates appeal to me ~ dig Mirage, think Jazz sucks, Dig Ratchet, think Prowl sucks (who's not the same price, but close) Hard to maximize that 50% off with how spread out the size classes are...

 

I wonder, though... if the Kreons were available separately, would anyone still buy the big sets? I honestly probably would not. But I HAVE been buying them, because I like the little Kreons. It seems like it would be in their best interest to just use them as an enticement to buy the bigger sets.

That's why I was kinda thinking the blind pack route makes sense for them ( much as I hate it) But I also just think, rather than pure cannibalization there is a market that'd eat up the Kreons that'd probably never buy the large sets...

Someone must have made a screw-up and put the Ironhide Kreon in place of Sideswipe.
