Y'know, I wouldn't be TOTALLY against getting an actual toy of that.

If simply to get a car Transformer that doesn't turn into some really-expensive-and-slick sportscar/luxury car.

but paying $10,995 for a Deluxe is a bit much

We got my wife a Chevy at the time of the swerve promo in Lake Elsinore CA and they didn't have one. Oh I was hella mad.

The trouble is getting that red little bastard for a decent price! 

 

Picturing this next to the Camaro makes me think of the scene in Boogie Nights when Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character buys the cheap red Datsun to mimic Mark Wahlberg's Corvette.

Terrible car now with a terrible paint job. Only something a bit OTT like a Camero can pull off this paint job. Looks like a taxi to me.

 

Yeah, I found that mere minutes after posting how hard it was to find him for a good price  I might jump on him, actually...

 

Love the look of the DOTM Camaro, but painting up a regular car to look like a sportscar only makes you look like a douchebag  .

 

It makes sense to me for the market it's being sold to.
If it were to be a special edition here in the US, I'd have to wonder what they were thinking
