I was going to ask YOU that! lol

You know what I think happened? They initially had it slated for $80, saw how many people where goo goo gaa gaa over the figure, they knew they could jack the price so the did. Supply and demand.

But if this guy is close to $100 how much are the core torso dudes going to cost? They are bigger and more complex.

Foggeddaboddit..I'm just going to call the Funeral director, this is going to kill my wallet dead.

but in my world I make money to make me comfortable and happy and this will make me extremely happy.

edit...nevermind Fab you are the igear guy not TFC oops lol

Ironically, that price quote came from RK, who did hold true to their quote. Bbts is trying to roll us though, it'll be interesting to see where the other retailers fall.

it works out $20 more to get to me with shipping from bbts than it does from rk ...bbts have marked the price of the figure up if you look! cost me $104 from rk in total , worked out to around $130 or just under from bbts

Everyone is trying to roll you not just BBTS. They know people will buy this stuff no matter the cost. BBTS and TFSource are almost always higher then RK. Look at PE-11 $69.90 at RK $89.99 everywhere else but then you pay more shipping.

Importing items from overseas always costs more. The markup that BBTS, TFsource and the like have on Robotkingdom is nothing new.

I figure if I use the Pile-o-Loot with BBTS the total cost plus shipping should come out cheaper than buying each individual piece with RK. We shall see though.

Amazing to me how things are put on pre-order before a final product is available or shown. Id like to see how this is going to look combined and how tall it will be. You can buy a custom devastator for around a G so will it be worth it to spend 600 on this or spend a few hundred more and pick up a custom dev?

It's not a marked up price at all. BBTS is probably paying the same price as RK from the manufacturer but they all have to pay to have the order shipped to them and then charge to ship to you. RK is local so they save on the international shipping.
