Sorry. Can a mod adjust the title to avoid further disappointment?

Other than the Autobot logos, what do these things have to do with Transformers at all? They're just Rescue Heroes ripoffs with non-transformable vehicles...talk about cashing in.

would have been really cool if these accessory vehicles could turn into backpacks or other power ups for the actual robots, rather than just a vehicle for the human characters.

I don't think that changes the fact that these are cash-ins...they could have just as easily included some humans with the Transformers, but instead they release these, which, if not for the Autobot logos, could really be from any generic "Rescue Heroes"-type line.

ONLY Transformers are allowed in a Transformers toyline, HasFAIL!

You know, the toylines that are based on fictional universes in which Transformers, humans, and non-sapient machinery all co-exist. Those toylines. They can only have Transformers in them or else someone's being ripped off. Somehow.

Also Hasbro, how DARE you use your IP to promote a line that's not targeted at 15-50 year old super-cereal Tranfsormers fans!

Oh come on now, you know I didn't say or imply any of that; I'm all for expansion of the line, but these things just seem lazy. To me, it looks as though the fact that they're part of a Transformers line was almost an after-thought. I have no problem with them targeting younger kids with certain lines, but these wreak of "Let's slap some Autobot logos on these so young kids will be more inclined to want them". So yeah, I'm still sticking with these being cash-ins.

    Of course it's a cash-in. It's always been a cash-in. All that's changed in the demographic. That's why I think you're funny.

It's also demonstrably false that the Transformers connection is an afterthought, because full Transformers, including Optimus and Bumblebee, are coming out for this line. It's just that they are also releasing smaller toys that aren't full Transformers. Who gives a crap anyway? I have no interest in them and that doesn't bother me.
